    What's up, dood?

I didn't get a chance to watch the game this morning. I heard Inter played really flat? Not having Motta for a while hurts. It's actually really great to see a team like Sampdoria doing well in Italy, but it almost guarantees that Milan will be missing the Champions League next year. I'm having a rough couple of years.

Yeah we controlled a lot f the posession throghout the game but couldn't even get a decent chance on goal. Our midfield was pathetic at getting the ball to our balotelli, eto'o, and milito but that's what you get when you have zanetti, cambiasso, and vieira in the midfield. I just hope sneijder is back for the champions league game this week

To say this is the worst Milan team in 30 years, would be one of the greatest understatements of all time. We seriously could be relegated. I just hope we miss out on the EUROPA league if we can't make it into the top 4 (we have no chance whatsoever).

its a disgrace to past legends and the great fans who support this team. I am with you I hope we not only miss CL next year but also EUROPA. Maybe then they will wake the fuck up and see this joke of a team

Roma president Rosella Sensi has announced plans for the club to build a new 55,000 capacity stadium.
The stadium will be named after Sensi's father and will be built in the Aurelia district of Italy's capital city.
Sensi said: "Our aim is to build a stadium for families. My father (Franco Sensi) and Dino Viola had put the new stadium at the centre of their programme.
"I apologise for these emotions, but for us this an important milestone that represents a point of arrival."
Club captain Francesco Totti added: "I hope I get the chance to play in the new stadium but they will have to build it quickly.
"I will sign my new contract soon and I hope the new stadium comes within the next five years. It's also right to dedicate it to Franco Sensi."

been pretty quiet about Inter getting a new stadium recently. here's what Moratti said last time he was asked about a new stadium

The councillor for sport has distanced himself from the possibility of new stadiums for Inter and AC Milan. If Milan wants to host the Champions League final in 2015, will only the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza remain?
"I had heard this news already. It also depends on the Champions League final but this doesn't mean there can't be another stadium to play the match at."
So you haven't abandoned the idea of creating a new stadium for Inter?

"It's an ongoing project. We will see if it happens."

It's a shit fucking sandwich, and there was a report yesterday that Berlusconi doesn't even want to spend on the team in January. I hope that will change when he realizes that we are prime targets for relegation by then. Honestly, there's a strong fucking chance that we'll be relegated this year, which would completely destroy the team. Silvio needs to sell Milan. He did great things for us and took us to the top of the world for 20 years, but he's now destroying Milan faster than Bobby Bowden destroyed FSU.

Where the fuck is the money for the new stadium going to come from? Everyone in Europe knows that Sensi is broke...

Inter needs to build their new stadium and Milan needs to buy the San Siro from Milan's Council.

looks like Milito will be out for the game saturday against Udinese, along with Motta, and it's still uncertain if Sneijder will be able to play. Looks like it could be another poor performance from the midfield and forwards. i  that mancini, vieira, and quaresma don't play.

There's going to be a riot in the Atalanta-Milan game. Atalanta is up 1-0, players gets red carded for no reason, and then fans have to be restrained from killing referee. I hope the fans get on the field and slit the throats of Seedorf, Pirlo, Favalli, Jankulovski, Zambrotta, Dida, and others that I'm forgetting.

I cannot even stand to watch these cunts anymore.

Pato was probably the only one that really scared me consistently throughout the derby match earlier this year. Inter really doesn't have anyone that can keep up with his speed(Santon maybe, but he wasn't playing that game) and I couldn't trust Lucio after he let the ball bounce over his head and Pato ran by him. Not to mention Maicon is always on the attack which left Pato v Lucio alone on the right on counter attacks.

That is actually worse for them IMO. It's very similar to what has happened to FSU, we have sucked balls but yet manage to make it to a bowl every year so they can use "we have something to build on" or "it wasnt a losing season" excuse. I am pretty sure most Milan fans would rather them completely fail this season, so that Berlusconi would finally have to leave.

Yeah I want to finish 8th or worse. Palermo is better then what they have shown so far. I think some of these teams will get it going and I thin we will drop a couple more spots.

I view the Europa League as a complete waste of time and energy, so yeah, if we aren't going to finish in the top 4 (we have no chance), then I don't want to be anywhere near that shit hole of a tournament.

As to your final point, there is no scenario in which Berlusconi is forced to leave by the club or its fans... It's not a situation where he is elected President of the club like with Barcelona and Madrid, he owns the team (Fininvest) and does whatever the fuck he wants. I've talked a lot of shit about Berlusconi recently, but the fact of the matter is that he turned Milan into the second best club team in history. While Bobby Bowden made FSU one of the best teams in a twenty year span, his impact really won't mean all that much historically or at least it doesn't at this point. Berlusconi did the equivalent of taking someone like Texas (in national title terms) and putting them right behind USC and Notre Dame. Now, there is a degree of relevance in your analogy because Berlusconi is now destroying Milan the way Bobby Bowden is destroying FSU. Frankly, I think the reasons why he hasn't invested in Milan are starting to become clear.

    1. The global recession has always been at the top of the list... He simply cannot justify spending 100 million Euros in calcio as Italy's Prime minister when Italy's economy is in the position that it is in. We were not really talking about it a few years ago on TMB, but I and every other Milan fan was devastated when Berlusconi successfully regained his position at the top of the Italian government.

    2. Berlusconi might not have all that much money after the next few years play out. He's worth an estimated $9,000,000,000 last time I checked, but a few different things are going to destroy that wealth... The first is his impending divorce, which he is completely to blame for happening. He cheated on his wife publicly and is under an absolute firestorm in Italy. I'm unaware of any prenuptial agreement between he and his wife. Second, Berlusconi essentially sold his soul and crushed everyone that got in his way to the top, and now that is coming back to haunt him (See below)...

Italian Prime Minister and Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has said he was “flabbergasted” by a court ruling that has slapped his media group Fininvest with a €750 million fine.

A civil court ruled last week that rival media company Compagnie Industriali Riunite (CIR) was entitled to €750m in compensation from Fininvest, the holding company which effectively controls the Rossoneri, as it seized control of Mondadori, Italy’s leading publishing house, from CIR through bribery in 1991.

The ruling has adjudged Berlusconi to have been ‘co-responsible’ for the bribery of a judge who favoured Fininvest during a takeover dispute.

Marina Berlusconi, the head of Fininvest and the daughter of the Italian magnate, has announced the company will appeal the court decision, which could directly affect Milan.

“I am literally flabbergasted,” a fuming Berlusconi said yesterday.

“It is a sentence that goes beyond good or bad, it is a legal absurdity.”

Now, that might be the one glimmer of hope for any Milan fan that wants to see Berlusconi sell the club. Fininvest owns the majority of AC Milan, and they might end up having to sell the club in order to sell that $1,000,000,000+ fine that has been handed down. Then again, Berlusconi is the most powerful Italian in the world, and I have my doubts that he'll ever pay a cent of that fine.

Frankly, he needs to sell the club. He and Galliani have made tremendous mistakes in the past 5 years. It isn't about the last two years, it's about the time after Milan purchased Kaka. Since then, Milan has relied on aging former superstars, and eventually aging former superstars become about as effective as lower tier club players. Still, no one will ever mean more or do more for Milan than Berlusconi, but it's time to sell.

Inter's new stadium has passed through the Senate and it is up to Moratti(President of Inter) for the next steps. It will be located Via Novara which is West of the San Siro.

someone on one of Inter's website provided better translation than what I can give so here's what he said the article meant:
The first part of the article is a pain in the ass to translate but basically the Italian government has agreed to build a ton of stadiums in an effort to support to make Italy the number one candidate for Euro 2016 and the Olympics in 2020 and Inter have taken his opportunity to make things much less complicated.

On Monday, Paolillo will present the project to the Chairman of Credito Sportivo Cardinaletti. The area is just a mile west of what the Meazza now. It's in Novara, the district of Gallaratese. The model is based on the Allianz Arena of Bayern Munich.

    Italians get stadium go ahead
    Thursday 8 October, 2009

Yesterday the Italian senate gave the 'ok' to a bill in support of Italy's bid to host Euro 2016, making it easier for clubs to fund new privately owned stadiums.

The bill has still to get through the Chamber's Culture Commission, but La Gazzetta dello Sport understands it will become law within a year.

Inter have been quick to take advantage of the news.

On Monday Inter director Ernesto Paolillo unveiled the Nerazzurri's plans for a new stadium to the President of Credito Sportivo, an institution specialising in grant funding related to sport.

With the new law, Italian clubs will be able to get loans at very favourable rates for new grounds. The state is also ready to make £18m available in funding.

Inter have already found a site for a new stadium just 1.5km from San Siro along Via Novara.

The model for their ground will be Bayern's Munich's Allianz Arena.

A number of Italian clubs are in the process of either developing or building a new stadium.

Juventus and Fiorentina are the furthest along while Roma recently unveiled their plans for a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.
