So IV>CP correct? I just fully upgraded my 82% Jolteon and it has less CP than my never upgraded 64% Flareon.
In general, CP is current strength and IV is potential. If your Flareon has more CP than your Jolteon, it may be because you have a better moveset on the Flareon or because Jolteons suck.
Had an Electabuzz pop up in my parking lot. First one I've caught. Hatched a Hitmonlee today as well. Also hatched my first Koffing and got enough Shellder candy to get my first Cloyster (on my 93.3% Shellder) and caught the 1 more Squirtle I needed to evolve my 84% to Wartortle
Probably going to do the name thing for my 647 Eevee before I evolve him. Even though I've got a fuck ton of Vaporeons it seems like that's probably still the best route to take with him. I haven't done his IV yet. What is a good IV to start actually caring to power them up and stuff? Do you wait until you get a 70%+ or do you just avoid any below 40-50%?
I'm basically evolving anything I can (if it takes a lot to evolve them I'm trying to hold off for 75+% but only using my star dust to power up ones in their final evolution and 80+%)
I prefer to only evolve and keep anything over 80%, but if it's a rare Pokemon that I barely see any of, I'll keep it if it's in the mid-high 70s. Since I'm flooded with Eevees I'm only evolving 90%+ of those. Have a 98.8% Flareon and a 91.8% Vaporeon already.

has anyone found the elusive pokeball that turns pokemon into another pokemon upon capture? i just found my first. a jigglypuff magically turned into a venonat upon capture. wtf niantic?
my jolteon can take down any vaporeon I've gone up against, that little fucker can attack then dodge so fast I only get hit with half the attacks

Most annoying bug for me is losing eggs when they freeze on the screen. I have lost at least 3 10K eggs and countless others. I checked recents and definitely did not receive anything.
That's really got nothing to do with anything. That's just how this game works. You pound the fuck out of your phone screen, you win.
The exp loss from nice/great/excellent throws is annoying. Anyone have a site where I can play one of these others pokemon games you guys are talking about? I should probably learn what this pokemon thing is all about at this point.
You'll need to download an emulator. Then use that same site and go under ROMs. Download your specified ROM. The older ones are blue,red,yellow(1st gen),gold,silver,crystal(2nd) gen, and ruby, sapphire, and emerald(3rd gen). The rest use the DS emulator and I don't know their order or anything about them at all really. Also if you're playing the 1st gen, I recommend downloading fire red or leaf green.
Some girl in Ohio is the first known user to find a legendary pokemon. Been confirmed by multiple people, appears to be legit or a super elaborate prank. She says she got an e-mail from Niantic and checked her pokedex and Articuno was in there. She posted pics and videos and is going around taking gyms with it now.
Fire red or leaf green would be my recommendation. Yeah, just click on the tab that says either DS or Nintendo Gameboy Advance. It should have an option for Mac.
think the Pokemon spell has worn off on me did evolve a 768 cp Flareon today though, almost 200 cp better than my gay ass Fearow, who was leading the pack
Come to find out my best Pokemon so far is venomoth at 89%. Cooool my snorlax and vaporeon don't stack up. Level 9, so I guess I have that going for me Maybe?

i feel like there are less pokemon out there in the world. the pokemon go map still works, but i don't see as many of the tier II pokemon that i used to. still mostly the basic ones.
By me there are spots with no population or pokestops crawling with Pokemon (ate lunch at a restaurant with no pokestop so it wasn't a lure that had 3-5 Pokemon at all times) and I walked my dog for 2 miles, hit 9 pokestops this morning and didn't see a single one Just seems completely random
