Quality I believe? Also - read a lot of places that it's broken right now, and having over 100 doesn't effect anything
I didn't think so? But maybe? Noticed it a few times today so either thats because I haven't played in a while, or its new there too. Also - you can purchase blueprints for two set items / set right now with PC. ~300ish per. Nice and easy to get that first 2 piece bonus
8pm EST on the day they release their end game product and they have to do a mandatory server update because they fucked up. Never change Ubisoft.
Well it is disappointing to find out that they are fixing the named characters dropping 4 high end items and reverting it back to 1. I didn't even get to take advantage of it.
Man, that incursion sucks dick, farthest I made it was the 9th wave last night. I don't know if there will be anyway 99% of the players could ever finish it on challenging. We used the strategy of chilling in the middle basement deal and eventually the shotgunners would just overwhelm us or the turrets would get us on the way back to safety.
My group didn't realize there was a middle ground or a time constraint, so we killed round 4 for about an hour from the control center (Despite, some how, every grenade killing us if a toe is in the AOE). But regardless, it's a pretty lazy concept and I'm fairly disappointed. I don't personally like survival mode games
They hot fixed the Incursion during the servers being down. I completed it before with a pretty well geared group. After the hot fix they really changed how the APC AoE works and we died on wave 11. It got significantly harder. I got 4 piece Striker though which is nice. I think the Marksman set is pretty stout too. Can't decide between 4/2 Striker or 4/2 Marksman. The most disappointing part of the patch to me is that they said you wouldn't need to craft much at all to get great gear because the lvl32 DZ named bosses had a good chance to drop Gs200+ gear and weapons. I was in DZ06 over 4 hours last night with multiple groups and only one person got a Gs204 item and that was it. That means the best way to gear up is still through crafting and grinding to DZ75 to get the Aug and m1a1 as they're the only gs204 weapons I've seen. Game is still so fun and all the hating on Reddit is dumb. People that play for 12 hours a week expect to be able to have a fighting chance against those that play 80 hours a week. Just doesn't work that way. Loot still needs to be tweaked some. The only reason I'm a little mad is that they contradicted themselves quite a bit with gear drops in the DZ and the raising of crafting mat requirements. I think more changes are coming though. Back to farming.
Who is Hiaku on PS4? We got into some shit last night in the DZ. Dudes had the Peanut Butter Maneuver on us outside of a DZ safe house. Was in party chat with some guys and didn't realize they didn't invite you.
Can someone explain this madness to me please? So the "level" of your gear effects your score. For the most part, gold seems to be 163, purple is 147, blue is 131, etc etc. Why in the hell, do I have blue armor at 894 but I have purple stuff that's only in the 400s? But I get higher "score" for the purple?
Your purple should have more skills on it. The reason your armor is lower on the purples is that it didn't roll a +armor skill on it. It most likely has more native armor compared to your blue.
just got my ass kicked by the incursion like 12 times in a row, never getting past the 4th round, bc i was the highest geared person at 158, and i was stuck with a bunch of 142s who died consistently to the apc and grenadiers
Probably, it's pretty tough. The key is to have all 4 guys work together the entire time. I played it a few times and once someone else tries to get fancy or cute and go out and be a hero, you're fucked cause it's tough to revive them cause there are so many enemies. The key is to make sure you have the right abilities too, need a few stun sticky bomb guys a smart cover, a pulse and some health stations. Give it a shot and see how you do.
what backinblack23 said it's all about teamwork/loadout. i got in a grp with with the avg score of like 155 and we got to round 12 bc we camped the right side of the map. two guys up high, two guys down on the middle platform. it worked out well, until a bad timing of shotgunners and grenadiers got us
I'd be down for an incursion after work. I haven't done it yet but I'm 180ish gear score, I just geared up Tuesday before switching to destiny for the last couple of days. I also have 3 pieces of striker gear so I do all of the critical damage.
Assuming my character didn't get wiped that is, I haven't signed it since Tuesday morning. Did they ever fix that?
For the Incursion, the best place to be is in the middle underground. You could definitely do that at level 140. The tunnel makes a kind of S shape with holes in parts of the roof in the middle. Facing the APC, the West or left side of the S has stairs that point to the front of the room and the East or right side of the S has stairs that face and exit to the back. From inside there it's much easier to dodge the missile strikes. Also you can shoot the drones and some of the sniper spots from the inside middle looking up. You just have to split your team in two groups of 2 and watch each staircase while the West stair guys also focus on the middle as some mobs drop down the hole opening. The thing to note is that the West part of the S once you go up the steps makes you vulnerable to sentry gun fire. We never go out that way as you get interrupted and movement slowed. We may peek and shoot for a second, but never go up those stairs. Enemies will rush that side though so you still need to watch it though. The East side of the S is where your best geared sniper and another support/gun needs to be. He can stand on the stairs and shoot a full 360 degrees without being shot by the sentry gun turrets. I admittedly have good gear so this route is much easier, however, this is also the best way to do it. I play the West stairs and also watch the middle. Every time a bomb is grabbed you only need 2 people to run up there to plant. 3 maybe at first and as. you feel comfortable after the first few times, you can go to two. The bomb should always go to the West side even though it's inconvenient when the mob dies on the East side of the map. That is because you have cover over there and you don't have to jump a wall to plant the bomb. I don't even have to hit survivor link anymore. I turn off the turret on my side with the other guy clicking at the same time for the other. He hangs out. I plant. Then I run back and we click the turrets again to give us a few seconds to run back. Rinse and repeat. On the 15th wave, kill the bomb guy as soon as you can. When you get the bomb you can rotate whatever survivor links you have left and just sprint up there through the building again and plant. He's usually the 2nd or 3rd mob killed in wave 15 and I pop a survivor link to get to the room, I'll usually tag the one gun out unless it's really hectic, run out and plant, and have a teammate pop another survivor link to run back. If you die after you plant up there, it doesn't matter, just make sure someone lives until the end as the APC explosion kills the remaining mobs. Our group runs: 3 Survivor Links and 1 Recovery Link 2 Scans with Tactical Scanner (increased damage). 1 Support Station with Immunizer. 2 First Aid with Overdose. 1 First Aid with Defibrillator or Support Station with Life Support. 2 Stickies with Flashbang. It is really helpful to have a support player with high skill power and cooldown reduction. When using First Aids with Overdose or any in general, don't double tap, always shoot the ground, so your teammates can stand in it or walk through it. Also we use the double revive glitch as often as possible. We have completed it now 4 times with this strat and it keeps getting easier. Hope that helps.
so... I didn't get this when it first came out after playing the demo and deciding I might not want to invest the time... but seems like everyone is playing and enjoying would it suck ass to jump in at the beginning at this point?
Shocker and yeah it is such a waste. At least destinys raid was fun this is lazYsofts work at its finest
2 minutes to do the incursion? The one I read is it takes like 20-30 minutes if you have maxed out skill power guys.
Yeah I think the bull shit incursion killed anymore care I have for this game. Maybe once the first expansion comes out I'll give it a look like Destiny but it's Ubisoft so yeah probably not
not sure if i shared this before picked up some blue 1205 body armor in the DZ. about 30 seconds later my retard noob teammate "accidentally" killed another player in the middle of a huge firefight and I got got because we were rogue. worked out a negotiation that he could join us again pending any point in time we're in the DZ and he has some good loot I can boot him from the squad and duel to the death and take his shit if I win.
I kind of want to do the incursion glitch and do some farming tonight to get some good gear and phoenix credits, anyone else in?
I am beyond bummed that there is no way I can make it from level 67 in the dark zone to 75 before they switch the blueprints from the level 204 AUG and 1st wave M1A.
Worst part is they rotated them in on Tuesday and are resting them today at 8 Eastern so we will have had just 4 days to do the grind before they switch them. Guess I hope they rotate something that isn't shit in. Hopefully they break down the DZ bracket some more by gear score because right now the super geared level 240 exploit users are just going to be greifing everyone since they won't have anything else to do.
Add plus kill exp to your knee pads and mask (I think) and you'll level in the DZ a lot faster. I went from 50-57 in about 3-4 hours while the same guy in my party went from 40-48. I have about 60% additional kill exp.
