Pretty entertaining game thus far. I feel like Steve is emerging from his slump, which might be the difference in the 2nd half.
They can't guard Auguste and yet he's somehow only taken 3 shots; really need to pound him this half.
would imagine sfa tries to up the pressure this half. i think some of it has to do with the fact that we have much better ball handlers than wvu, but they didn't seem to press as much today as they did on friday. need to continue to break the pressure, get it into za and go from there.
i just posted in the tournament thread, but he's out there for ball handling. but he's got 2 of our 5 turnovers. can't shoot. can't defend. what purpose does he serve?
Gotta think Pfleuger is at least a 80-90% as good ball handler plus a better shooter, rebounder, and defender. Maybe Brey just doesn't want to play a freshman 25-30 minutes, but feels like it should be
4 missed layups for steve today. he's hit some tough ones and he's got the 2 3's, so he's playing better. but c'mon guys! finish the easy ones
These refs are going to do all they can to make sure SFA wins. I've only seen last 8 mins but it's not close
xavier is really good, and they'll probably win today. it would be an upset if we win, but again if we're hitting shots and jackson plays like he did today, i think nd can beat either of the two.
wisconsin can't do offense, so if they somehow win and move on, we'll just need to score 50 and we we'll win by 30
so i've seen on here and on twitter that there was a pushoff on the last tip in that was missed (it's being compared to the iowa push off against temple). i've watched the video 10 times now and i just don't see it. i'm so confused
Know KenPom is taking hits recently, but he ranks X as the lowest 2 seed and actually #13. Wisconsin has a great D, but not elite, and a mediocre offense. My guess is X wins and I actually think we have a chance. Would rather have them than OU or Nova.
