South Florida guys, what courses would you most want to play? I'm heading down this weekend and need to get on the phones. Some of my possibilities are Jupiter Island, Gulfstream, Quail Ridge, Jupiter Hills, McArthur. 50/50 on Seminole at the moment.
I'm not sure how you could be 50/50 on Seminole. It's one of the most exclusive clubs in America. If you can get on, take advantage of it. You can play the others much easier a different time.

Life as a tour pro (even a guy trying to make it) is a rock star(ish) lifestyle. When/if I have a child, they will have a club in their hand asap
My son is two and got his first starter set for Christmas. He lines up on the right side if the ball at address and doesn't have a shitty swing. Sometimes it takes him a couple of "practice" swings to make contact. On an unrelated note, I had the best round of my life last weekend with and 81. 42/39. Full disclosure, it was a par 71 course. Thought I was going to break 80 until I lost my tee shot on 17 and tripled. My game, it's coming. Spoiler I hope. Please, God.
We gave my son a starter set for Christmas. He's been making ok contact, and swings it like a hockey stick. Even for a starter set, it seems like he is struggling with the weight of the club. In due time, little tad.
Picked up this Titleist 19* 913H from GlobalGolf this past week. I'm very happy with the condition as it was listed as "Very Good." I need to play as much as possible between now and April 18 when I play in a tourney at Atlanta Country Club.
My son grips it fine, but he thinks he is Phil Mickelson with his back swing. Think the antithesis of Artoo.
Oh I wanted to play Seminole. I was 50/50 on getting on it. The guy I was going to play with was playing in a tournament at Gulfstream and couldn't host, then the Pro-Member on Monday shut it down. We bailed on Florida until we can swing Seminole. We went to Sea Island instead. Played Frederica today. It was awesome. They have the best practice facility I've ever seen. Harris English was on the putting green when we were warming up.
Are you playing the resort courses? I'm heading that way next weekend for a long weekend and can't wait to embarrass myself on the range again.
Not this time but I have played Seaside. We stayed at Sea Island Friday night. We used the range and putting greens and everything was immaculate as usual. Be sure to take a shower at the lodge.
Well he did go to UGA... But, I know them through mutual friends with her. She's pretty cool too. Hudson got lucky Brother-in-law is down at Seminole this weekend and sticking around for the member-pro on Monday. So incredibly jealous. My dad has played it >10 times. Really want to try to tag along one of these days.
You can't just say something like this and not give a reason as to why such a unique thing is recommended.
Posting from ATL airport en route to South Carolina on the MODEVIL world tour. Bear Trap was awesome. Far exceeded my expectations. It is a huge party deck that wraps around from 16 green to 17 tee. Totally different from Riviera last week. We got to Jigga's place around 10:45 I'd guess and walked to the course. Saw Phil, Ernie and a few other big names play 16 and 17. Early on the bear trap was a perfect set up to watch guys hit their approach on 16 and putt out and follow over to 17 tee. We leave the bear trap to get lunch and walk a few holes. Jigga somehow found me on 10 as we were walking back toward the Bear Trap. We walked with him and he casually drops in all the birdies he had the last time he played the course. His kid better be really good at golf based on their location to the courses. Back in the Bear Trap and all the sudden it's a massive party. Vibe had totally changed in the 1+ hour we were gone. Super full and 1 in, 1 out through security eventually. We couldn't really move game and forth from 16 to 17 so set up shop on 17 with a perfect view from tee to green. Tons of good looking young women, which surprised me after my first few days in Florida where we were typically the youngest people in the restaurant. Scott Brown (I think, was having a few dark and stormys so memory might be off) had the first birdie on 17 we saw and Adam Scott got a massive cheer when he hit it close. We didn't know about his quad though because of the crowd. Was staying with roommate for a year in college and his wife. His wife thought Jigga was so nice and was raving about him and how lucky we were as we left PGA and avoided all the traffic. Plane is boarding but Jigga was a great host and highly recommend the Honda as a weekend buddies trip.

Played Pinehurst #2 today. As I've said before it is my favorite course. First time playing it in the "winter", greens were slow and you didn't get near the roll I was used to. Still a great day but it is much more enjoyable further into the season.
Swafford's caddie is close friends with a couple of my buddies. He can absolutely mash the golf ball.
My winning fantasy this week is for all the aspiring kids out there who dream to one day win their own week in fantasy golf. If I can do it, anyone can do it!!!!
