i hope they appoint a second special counsel against obama just to witness the spin when it comes up with nothing.
Senate is going to pass skinny repeal and put the ball in House's court. House will pass it. They'll all give each other a wink while passing the blame off on each other as they all laugh their asses off to reelection with nobody sharing the brunt of the blame for these fucked up shenanigans.
Millions of Dems and independents are going to be purged from voter rolls, others will be intimidated and threatened. It's not going to matter.
Good luck to all conservatives who lose members to cancer because they wont be able to afford treatment. You deserve this.
Because they are willing to fuck absolutely anyone over to make a buck. They're even willing to destroy their own country to get rich.
...... So why the fuck are you passing something so horrible? Why the fuck vote on something you don't want to actually happen? Fucking lying to everyones faces. It's going to pass the senate and, unchanged, pass the house. I hope John McCain shares his brain cancer with every senator who votes yes for this then tries to weasel away from the responsibility for the consequences.
Republicans and everyone who votes for them are such pussies. Voting to pass this in the middle of the night because they know they will get hammered on it because they know it's horrible.
Lets be entirely honest about what is happening -- Republicans are making a calculated gamble. They think if they do this to the health care markets, it forces the Democrats to come to the table to negotiate to fix the absolute chaos they are about to unleash. They also think this will give them political cover from moderates. Repeal, plays to their base. Forcing Democrats to now negotiate over health care, political cover for '18 and '20. I'm hoping Democrats tell them to eat shit and own this themselves. They made the mess. They own all 3 branches. Tell them to fix it.
Why would they need democrats to negotiate anything? And how do they get political cover after they yank away Healthcare from their own constituents? If this happens, it will never be easier to kick these fuckers out of office. Their constituents got a taste of a better healthcare system, now they will lose it again.
i can't wait for 18, when the republicans get run out of office. seems a sure thing at this point. fuck their base and fuck this reprehensible bill
b/c they need to blame this on Dems when this inevitably collapses. And of course the Dems will probably fall for it b/c they always make terrible political decisions that cause them elections. See "why we're in this fucking mess to begin with" for reference.
But they can't blame shit on dems when they control the majority in both houses. There's literally nothing to negotiate when there isn't anything to bargain with. This shit bill will pass without a single yes vote from a Democrat. Run ads over and over in every single district that has a senator or house member that voted yes and it should be a slam dunk.
Right now? Of course not. In the future, enough to give them cover for '18 and '20? Of course they do.
Sounds like these are pre-existing denying waivers that would apply to all health insurance plans in the U.S.?
You think the retards that constantly vote against their own best interests will not blame them but blame the Republicans? Come on.
I have an older friend who is retired and gets his insurance via his old employer. His 21 year old daughter has had juvenile diabetes since she 4 or 5 and graduates college this year. He voted magma
They will blame them sure, but they voted yes. Jim bob who got cancer and lost his health care and now goes bankrupt may wake up. If he doesn't, then maybe we just needed a good cleansing. I think it's different when you install a govt program that gets millions of Americans the opportunity to get insurance for almost a decade, then say "sorry the black guy did that to you, we have to take it back". We'll see. I think national polling about healthcare bodes well for those pussies getting voted out once their name is officially attached to the dumpster they are attempting to light on fire.
Still gonna need 60 votes in the future to pass health care overhaul, so they will need Democratic support. And how do they get political cover? Because Democrats aren't soulless, heartless bastards. That and they cave all the damn time. So Democrats will almost assuredly negotiate to fix the mess. Thus Republicans can run on the bipartisan nature of the new health care system. At least that's the political gamble that Republicans are about to take.
Also the fact that there is even a section of the GOP pretending like they want to vote no shows that they see some repercussions for their actions in the future.. If it didn't matter it'd be through by now.
