Let's try this. Instead of sending a separate emails to each of you, just click here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8q68imdtzxp5p32/4ip579-fJk I was banned for excessive usage, so if everyone tries at the same time, it could be banned again. So if your last name starts with A-M, download Mon to Wed, if your last name starts with N-Y, download Thur to Sunday. If your last name starts with Z, go fuck yourself.
Fuck it. I got shut down for excessive use again. If you want a book, PM me. But apparently I can't just put it out there for public consumption because Dropbox considers three people 'excessive use'. I have Box and Google Drive. I'll look into using them. Until then, PM me.
Someone try this and see if you can d/l it: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_4-j3L268eVcnZUVnJCTXV4U3M/edit
Looks to be working. I started and stopped the d/l because I have already gotten the file from dropbox
Finally was able to get it downloaded, amazing, holy hell at the number of books in there. Thanks for the hard work in getting this out to TMB man.
Glad it is finally working. Google Drive has smaller size restrictions than Dropbox, so I had to pare it down. I found a program that finds duplicates of files (based on filename and size) and weeded out almost 1000 duplicates. Then I just flat-out deleted anything that started with a number, such as "01-A_Cool_Story_:_Smith,John" because the vast majority were books of a trilogy or worse of several books in a series, which basically means pulp books that either appeal to people or they don't (a lot were from Wizards of the Coast's library of Forgotten Realms books... if you aren't familiar with them, they make Dungeons & Dragons and all the books were D&D-ish). After that, I was able to upload it. So hopefully, ~4500 books is enough. :)
Haha, yeah I think that is a good start. Started Ready Player One and Lone Survivor, both fantastic so far.
Embarrassed to ask for it, but Anyone have a hook up for "rich dad, poor dad"? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0762434279
Depends there are free ones. Guttenberg project has a bunch, mostly classics. Others through libraries or torrance.
Looking for 11 22 63 by Stephen King. Found a lot of his other stuff, but not this. Already paid for the audiobook, but wanted to actually read it when I'm unable to listen. Anyone have a hook up?
If anyone has seen a copy of the Three-Body Problem floating around I'm really interested in reading it.
I'm trying to get the Play to Live series by D. Rus, starting with Book #2. I'm hooked after the first book, but don't really feel like paying $50 for the next 6. Can any of you help me out?
Now that KAT has gone (at least for now) other than bib what is the best torrance site out there to get ebooks?
I don't know of one fully dedicated to ebooks but when bib was down I could usually find anything I was looking for between ipt and wat
myanon is a good book site. Im not on bib, but it has 99% of the books Ive looked for. I have 2 invites. It does take some maintenance but its really easy to build up a good ratio. Just takes a little time.
Yep. I know the feel. I slacked for about 6 months and have been back into reading for several months now. Finally joined GoodReads and have built quite a backlog to work through. Not really in the mood to drop hundreds of dollars to do it. I will buy a hardcover when I decide I really love a book, though.
