Awesome, I wish it was anyone but Baffert; however, that was a perfect race by a great horse. Beautiful sport.

@KFCBarstool: American Pharaoh going to live a better life than any human on this planet. Just carrots and oats and chick horses for the rest of his days

Everyone give props to mtsucalico85 for sticking with Keen Ice. I'm up $1200 today now and combined, we handicapped the shit out of this triple crown. Feel like a dumb ass for jumping off on Pharoah after his withdrawl from the juvenile last year, but we hit the super on the derby and the belmont. On to next year! Super excited for Shared Belief vs. American Pharoah at the BCC.
$36 Didn't pay a ton, I bet my ones on the last page and hit the super and did a $5 tri with 5/6,8,/1,3,7 that was $580 something ... $2 super was a couple hundred.
I some how fucked it up and it only cost me $24. I keyed the 7 with the rest. I don't know how I fucked it up. me.
Well, the Haskell is up next month, Pacific Mile should have Shared Belief back. Stay interested past the triple crown, this is such an awesome sport to follow, you get to see the best of their generation go up against the best of the next generation. Breeders Cup is in Lexington this year, should see a lot of familiar names if you stay on top of it.
I will say this, depending on how AP finishes out the year, he could be up there on the Mount Rushmour of horses. Really impressive, that's coming from a hater so to speak, but Frosted is a first class colt, he got dusted today. As much as I hate his connections, that's a fucking hell of a horse.
love AP so so so much... I really felt strong he was going to pull this off. He dominated the 2nd and 3rd legs... And he had a battle in the Derby. Great horse.
That is an understandable bit of hyperbole after a four decade drought, but horse racing's Mount Rushmore (I hate that by the way) is probably more stacked than any other sport. Let's say you want to find a spot on there for him... I'll fill the first two spots with Secretariat and Man O'War... So, you have precisely 100 years to sift through without finding two horses with a more impressive resume. Great accomplishment, great horse. But there are legends littered throughout the history of the sport.
You never see a horse take an early lead and stay in the lead for the entire race at Belmont. AP loves to run. Wet, muddy, dry, windy - it doesn't matter to him. He had a near perfect race. And gosh damn was Secretariat something else. AP would've got handled today.
