2 ibuprofen and a coconut water and I'm back in the game. I have wedding tonight, so I'll be drinking again. When I go back to back Friday to Saturday, my Saturday morning hangover is always worse than Sunday....but Monday is a total bitch. I look forward to sweating and shaking at work.
Yeah I'm pretty much a toddler right now. If I had to be in public, I'd probably have a panic attack.
I just can't drink more than a couple high gravity beers. They just give me the worst headache the next morning. As long as I stick to light beer I'm good.
Try my concoction I drink every morning. 1 squeezed lemon Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar Teaspoon of ginger 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon cayenne red pepper 1 cup of water Mix and put in microwave for 45 seconds It cleans the toxins out of your liver and will help you sweat the hangover away
You must have an iron stomach. There is no way that concoction would stay down long enough to do any sort of healing for me. I don't even have a hangover right now and it's making me nauseous reading the ingredients.
Yeah, that's the problem. No one with a serious stomach upsetting hangover is going to keep that down.
drunk me has gotten into the fantastic habit of chugging some powerade before I pass out and leaving it on my nightstand.
I bought a gyro on my journey home last night that I don't remember, and I apparently could only muster one bite of it before I dropped it on the floor next to my bed.
Run. Only thing that takes me from awful to normal in a half hour. Cures all but the absolute worst hangovers.
I thought they were bad at 21 and 25. I am nearly 31 and just 2 weeks ago spewed due to a hangover. Was in Nashville and parking the car to eat at Peg Leg Porker. Parked, got out and started walking and pretty much projectile spewed all over the sidewalk. Buddy I was with starts dying laughing. Almost instantaneously I felt 75% better. Hangovers are fucking horrific now. Super Bowl Sunday I was on my death bed--it was the worst in recent memory.
If you can consciously chug water before you go to bed that seems to help. Unfortunately I do this <10% of the time.
Went to this local beach music festival yesterday and drank from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Ended up passing out around 8 and woke up today at 10. I feel really shitty and weird.
I make sure I drink at least 1 gator aid before I fall asleep and have another on my night stand to drink when I wake up during the night . I drink pickle juice and coconut water they both help.
I drank way more yesterday than I did on friday and I felt fine today and hungover as yesterday. Makes no sense.
Chug gatorade before bed. Take 2 ibuprofen when you wake up. They make gummy bear vitamins now. Buy some and eat them with the gatorade. 1st meal needs to include eggs / bacon / sausage...(calories and amino acids) . This ain't rocket science. If you only pick 2 of those to do, gatorade and vitamins should be those 2.
The worst hangovers are the ones where you feel anxious and uncomfortable in your own skin. It's basically a miniature version of alcohol withdrawel. Haven't had one of those in awhile, but the only cure is weed.
I get that the day after when I drink multiple days in a row. Then I try to take down caffeine cause I'm tired and it makes anxiety worse. The best thing for a hangover with shakes and sweats is Valium, obviously if you can get it.
I have not found an amount of before bed gatorade/water that even comes close to touching the severe dehydration that I seem to put myself through. I feel like through the night my body goes on a mission of finding every single h2o molecule and eliminates it.
If you can manage it without throwing up, this is the only answer. It sucks the whole time too and you feel like you're going to die. Then you get home and you're like oh hm, not hungover.
did a little hot yoga hung over today. I thought I was going to vomit, poop my pants, or a combination of both for the whole 90 minutes. feel gr8 now doe
