Let's just go with this.... 1st- Jameis Winston 2nd- Cameron Erving (slipping to 2nd Round) OG/C 3rd- Mario Edwards DE 4th- Jose Matius OG 5th- Nick O'Leary TE 6th- Karlos Williams RB 7th- Bobby Hart OT #boom m'fer commits suicide. Jameis sexes entire family to console them whether they want it or not. Best draft ever. Hey it could happen... (Little black kid from Angels in the Outfield voice). Then cut Bobby Fart for reasons...
Hart I think will actually be a nice value pick if he moves inside. best football is still ahead of him for a 20 year old.
3 year starter who's younger than a lot of RS-Sophomores (well RS-Juniors to be), I think his best days are ahead of him.
nah, I'm hoping at some point we can just be bucs fans in here and you all will get over the fact that drafting Winston, and potentially other Noles like Erving, Tre Jackson etc. would actually be good for our team.
No. It wouldn't. But for the record, I don't care about the rest of them. Double Nickle is my all-time favorite NFL player, so it's not an FSU thing. As I've said before, if the Bucs draft Winston, I will no longer be a fan and happily relinquish 30 years of fanhood. And if he wins (which is to say that he doesn't do something stupid off the field first), I won't give a damn. And if (and he does) flops, I'll be the first one to laugh and mercilessly taunt the rest of you.
Many Jags fans are coming to Raymond James this year. Look at the block that they've already been sold.
the funny thing is all of those first 4 picks would be reasonable and good fits. I'm tired of losing and being shitty and if those first 4 picks were good for our team (well except not drafting an OT), then I for one welcome our new nole overlords
I think your proposed reaction to the potential Winston-to-Tampa scenario is dumb. And I expressed that in the most profane way I knew how.
My money is on the dolphins. Dropping a team for not liking a draft pick is a very miami thing to do.
But what do you do when the draft pick has been proved to be a rapist in three different investigations? How do you combat your conscience?
Forget Jerramy Stevens, the whole Super Bowl roster was full of criminals. Cosey Coleman, Warren Sapp, Michael Pittman, etc.
It's okay Boom, I'll become a Bucs fan and you can become a Dolphins fan because you and Hoosier are perfect for each other.
On MM from article- The spread is widely considered the standard for offensive excellence in the NFL. i never thought about the 'I declare myself innocent' legal strategy. Genius. 'Hi every NFL exec, I'm gonna introduce you to my teammates, who really want an opportunity for a life changing job, but only because it makes me look like I care.'
daddy fat sacks, if you think I'm going to take your opinion over someone who likely gets paid $4 million a year to evaluate talent, you're crazy.
They start putting names to these statements I'll start listening. When quotes from NFL scouts begin with 'oh my goodness', I become very skeptical...
Yes, because scouts often give their names when discussing yet-to-be-drafted players. It's a common practice, for sure.
Just accept it already. I don't think the QB your NOT going to pick is the guy you invite to play horseshoes with the GM and the head coach at the Mike Alstott foundation event. When that same QB shows up in Tennessee wearing a polo from said event, and then cancels other visits, I'm pretty sure he knows something. you can not like it, but clearly none of those scouts from that article are from the bucs front office
It should be IMO. Who is making these statements is crucial. for example, I know Marc Noodleberg very well and would take anything he said with a grain of salt. But if Geoff Collins gave his opinion it'd hold actual weight. Now both of these people could be called UF coaches, but only one of their opinions are worth a damn.
Are you stupid? You think scouts should go on record about players before they draft them? Wat? Also, remind me which of Noodleberg and Collins is an NFL scout.
Point remains about who you're getting your quotes from. If either one gives an anonymous quote about gator football, they'll both be addressed as 'UF coach', same with these scouts and talent evaluators, regardless of what their actual title is. if you can't understand why this is an issue, you're a moron.
Furthermore, I'd bet you every staff in the NFL has a noodleberg type or two chomping at the opportunity to have someone quote them.
By the way, you must know Nudelberg really well. So much so that you didn't spell his name correctly.
