Tbh I don't care that she jumped in to run. It's a public road and she's not eligible for any of the prizes associated with the race. If she wants to jump in and run, whatever. The over the top LinkedIn style motivation or whatever it's supposed to be write up was terrible though.
It’s a major safety and liability concern for the race organizers and is essentially stealing the benefit of their labor.
If she couldn't afford it and was just running low key to show support or whatever, sure. Super cringe to duck the donation and still run for the purpose of getting social media clout though
Or just run the route on a day that a nonprofit hasn’t spent millions of dollars for the right to exclusive use of it and the infrastructure to support the event, all for the ultimate purpose of raising money for charities.
The narcissism needed to think you sneaking in and running a marathon will be inspiring to others is wild
Yea idk why I was assuming she just stumbled into the race. Like in town, walk out of hotel, oh hey there's a race, and jumping in. If she knew it was going on and intentionally didn't pay and just participate anyways, that's lame. I'll take a lap.
That’s fair. Full context — this is a pretty big race. Like 25k people big. It took some real effort to sneak in.
Let’s do all our births in caves like 200,000 years ago. That’ll definitely not lead to higher infant mortality, so definitely higher birth rates. Your lifestyle of wanting low infant mortality and a high % of mother surviving is what’s the problem here
They were skeptical he’s fully vaccinated but they didn’t do it all at once. Spread out over several months. Had a regular pediatrician who was ok with it. Couldn’t tell you what he got and when though
God that's just as annoying to me. This is usually the kind of person who refuses to get a seasonal flu or COVID shot. There will hopefully be an RSV vaccine for kids soon and I'm worried so many dipshits will refuse to vaccinate their infants even though it affects them the hardest at that age.
Totally agree. Bizarre mix of super liberal but also with Joe Rogan’s do your own research mentality.
B2B sales motion ... applied to getting married?! "Like a well-run sales cycle, key milestones must be met throughout the relationship to ensure a Closed Won status at the end." some really good replies https://www.linkedin.com/posts/brya...bined_share_message&utm_medium=member_desktop
I saw someone retweet that on my timeline and I'm pretty sure it's not a serious account. Like this is so fucking cringe it can't be real
