first half had me a tad worried that we hadn’t put the game to bed yet with some of those missed opportunities. plus, we were giving chelsea some half-decent chances of their own great second half, though. always fun to remind chelsea the natural order of things
can see why their xG is pretty good and why Palmer has the stats he does while not fully being convinced he’s that good Freak athletes all over but all have terrible end product and their defense is trash Jackson is a hilarious player
around 1:25, it would’ve been such a nice goal if kai slipped it to leo for the tap in there he’s come a long way from his first starts where he was playing everything safe. so glad we flushed £60mm down the drain for him
Not really. He was just playing in a different role, from the previous season & his metrics were trending lower. Jus the spreadsheet nerds were concerned
Sure but the point stands for whatever reason the impressive numbers are from a slightly smaller period than his matches played
The entire team struggled to score the first two months with the exception of maybe Saka. regardless, you’re not putting up those kinds of numbers unless you’re scoring at a nice clip, which we have been in the calendar year. I would be interested in seeing his numbers compared to everyone else since Jan 1.
xAG avg thru Nov (match 13): 0.08 From Dec up to Wolves game (Chelsea not available yet): 0.315 rolling avgs for xAG and SCA
anybody else just watch a few commercials in the middle of the merseyside derby? probably a better question for the epl thread i thought i was in lol
While United are absolute shit and Everton doing one against Liverpool is hilarious the fact we still play both terrifies me
My friend, assuming Luton doesn't go on a 4 wins in 4 heater, we should be safe by that game and like the final day two years ago you'll romp as we will have just survived.
if you’re terrified of playing Everton at home this season how do you find the courage to ever leave the house?
Decided a nap was the better option, was right Lol at a few of Gillett’s decisions I see on twitter, particularly the Foden slip that’s clear as day
as much as I appreciate what they've done, I am very excited about the potential upgrade from Zinchenko and Jorginho to Timber and Partey
if jesus navas can be convinced to leave, then anybody can imo although, living in san sebastian seems p nice ngl
fasho, in the end i have complete confidence edteta will bring in someone that will workout, even if it’s someone completely off the radar
