The Florida Democratic Party makes Texas's Dem Party look like a political machine in comparison. There is no democratic representation in Florida. The party has failed is constituents and is incapable of even fundraising. This state will be controlled by Republicans long after I'm dead. It’s undeniably bad, but we did just pick up a net gain of seats in Congress in 2022 midterms, going from a 12-4 R delegation to 10-5. Currently have Kaptur R3 and Sykes R1 holding seats in districts that went Trump in 2020. Also, abortion and recreational marijuana passed overwhelmingly in 2023. We just have a set of D fiefdoms in Ohio’s six biggest metros with no state wide coordination.
