I know nothing about him, other than he played well for you guys. We’re trying to have a sit down with Larry Sr. about taking his car keys and not let him drive anymore. Maybe he will retire to be an analyst if he gets to work with him.
lol that hire is so uncharacteristic of the OSU machine of the last 2 decades. Here’s to hoping for many more future failures.
Hit piece put out by all of Gene’s underlings that are mad they didn’t get the job and that we’re no longer a woke program. We SEC now
Bjork has been objectively bad at his job at prior stops. This seems like a pretty clear step down in leadership from Smith to me.
Being entirely honest, the OSU machine of the last two decades requires plausible deniability from the AD when faced with scandal. We average a scandal every 4-5 years and we’re probably due.
OSU doesn’t need an AD who can raise money for facilities upgrades. In the last 25 years, we have built a basketball/hockey arena, a baseball stadium, a track stadium, an Olympic sports arena, and did the most substantial renovation of Ohio Stadium in its history. We don’t need an AD to get our financial house in order. We turn a multi-million profit every year with surplus donated back to the school’s general fund. Big Ten money makes that even more easy. He was hired because we are in the NIL era. Amateurism has changed fundamentally in two years, and is going to continue to devolve. Bjork was hired to organize and coordinate our two revenue sports through this transition.
We are in the 15-year plan but when they happen they’re big and it’s generally without the winning big preceding it. (Football players with the cheerleader under Claeys, basketball academic scandal, basketball players accused of rape in Madison in about 1985, basketball a few time in the 70s…Mychal Thompson selling tickets, Fight against OSU, etc)

I say this every year, but how awesome would it be to have a couple of 7-on-7 scrimmages between schools.
I haven’t seen him play yet, but I’m pretty sure this transfer from Alabama has solved all our OL problems. That, and every OL has gained “good weight” and many other great things our best writers will tell us over the next six weeks. Were probably not going to lose another game until 2026.
It’s going to be an overwhelming Oregon crowd by the numbers, but there is a lot of interest among Ohio State fans to travel to this one. There aren’t too many big time venues we haven’t played and we haven’t played at Autzen since 1967.
On my wedding day in Sept 2019 my wife surprised me with a trip to Portland and Eugene complete with awesome dinners, hotels and tickets for the Ohio State game in 2020 I think a bunch of people have this one circled just like me
It’s going to be interesting for our guys as well. Our defense was embarrassed by Oregon in 2021. Ryan Day literally demoted Kerry Coombs as DC following the loss and then fired 4/5 of the defensive staff that off season. We had a lot of guys playing defense as true or redshirt freshmen in that game who are seniors now. LB Cody Simon and CB Denzel Burke started. JTT and Tyleik Williams were in the two deep rotation on the DL. Both teams are easily top five if we both take care of business heading into it.
I am so pumped to see the Ohio State defense. Lotta 1-2nd rounders gonna be playing on 10/12. Should be a great game for sure.
Planning on going to the PSU-USC game in October. Do you think they have Rotel in California or should I bring my own?
Trick answer but probably the 2011 Pac-12 Championship game against UCLA. This will probably be the best team to come to Autzen since the 2000's USC teams
After that Iowa/UConn finish, I never want to hear an Iowa fan comment (like idiots) about a fair catch again.
