Read the first 4 or so books, loved them Thought the movie adaptations blew ass Watched the first 2 episodes and they were great. Actors are more age appropriate, special effects way better (duh) Highly recommend
I enjoyed the movies for Daddario reasons and I have enjoyed the first two episodes. I’m excited for a more book centric series that stretches throughout the Uncle Rick universe.
Production seems good, and sounds like Riordan is heavily involved which is good. Better source material than HP imo.
I forgot Walker Scobell was the young Ryan Reynolds in the Adam Project He is literally the personification of Percy Jackson
Really hope this gets picked up for a second season. I enjoyed the fuck out of this version of the source material. It's been over a decade since I've read the books so I could remember most of the basic plot points but it still seemed brand new to me if that makes any sense. would love it if they made it all the way to the cross-over with the Roman Gods/demi-gods
My kid went on a huge greek gods kick in recent months and is absolutely over the moon for this show. She's 9 and when things started getting intense with Medusa she paused so she could go up stairs and get her stuffed animal for comfort
My kid is obsessed with and loves Kingpin. He constantly asked for “Percy vs the Greek Gods” over “Echo vs Kingpin”. My only issue with the show was the awful episode that took place in StL (gross), really liked everything else.
Having never read the books, am I way off in thinking that was in Nashville in the movies? Or am I getting mixed up
Got good news for you https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...ries-renewed-season-2-disney-plus-1235779655/
Haha yep lazy weekend over here. Finished Percy. The last few episodes hooked me and I had to finish it. Edge did a good job IMO. Didn't see that double cross coming at the end. Looking forward to season 2.
