Doubt it. But yeah, I'm checked out on basketball until they show me something. Blowing a 20 point lead after having all our starters back for the first time in weeks is just laughable.
I just think he's over the state of CBB. He hasn't evolved with the times and while there are very real developments with his in-game coaching, we're in deep shit going into the Big 12. IMO we need to take a swing on a young guy who sees CU as Portal U.
Yeah they're both at Providence. I don't necessarily think Kim would take the CU job but who knows. On Nate, I'd want to see him lead his own program. The only assistant coaches I'd want would be from blue bloods.
I will also say none of this on Buffstampede because every time I try to have a rational discussion there it turns to shite.
I am SHOCKED I tell you. I've yet to go over there after last night, but I'm sure it's the normal cesspool
It's brutal - I tried for a month and couldn't take it - thx Yung! Do you have 2-3 names that you think would be on the radar?
Off the top of my head, I'd look at: Denny Sprinkle Joe Pasternack Stan Johnson Will Wade (LOL) I'd make Kim say no first, then go to Madsen at Cal as I wonder if he's long for that job with their conference situation in flux thanks to FSU.
It has been a better ranked conference than the Pac-12 every single year since CU moved, finishing ranked as toughest in the country 9 times in that span. The away venues are more challenging because the teams are better and fans actually show up to games. The home games are harder because the teams are better and many fans actually travel to away games. We're going from a conference where the 3rd/4th best program has been a disaster essentially since year one (UW) and two historic conference powers have also been disasters (Stan/Cal). We're walking into a conference where the king is the king and everyone else has been actively caring about hoops for a while now. We're wayyyyy more behind the times in this conference than the P12. To put it in plainer terms: The worst two coaching jobs in the Big 12 right now are probably UCF and Tech? And two of those three are markedly better than CU. We go from being the 4th worst (at best) job in a conference to arguably dead last or right there with UCF.
I don’t know how it happened but imagine by happy surprise when I realized we were playing UW today
Cody has greatly surpassed my expectations on the shooting front. His jumper is smoother than I expected. Glad we get to watch him in a Buffs jersey, even if only for a year.
That's one of the worst teams I've ever seen in the Pac-12 and this dog shit conference has had a lot of dog shit teams.
I knew he was bad, but dear lord: Wilty's overall grade for his redshirt sophomore campaign was 35.6 on Pro Football Focus, which ranked worst among the Colorado offensive and defensive players that were on the field for more than 19 snaps last season. He had a 13.2 grade on 102 pass plays on PFF.
Was hoping for a later UCF game so I didn't bake, but other than that, no issues. UCF's Super Bowl versus Florida is the following week. I'll take it.
