This was a tourney team coming into the year. Issue is, Larranaga refused to address bench depth in the portal and instead rely on two freshmen and two sophomores, the latter of which are unplayable
I'm glad I don't care about Fisch leaving AZ bec Miami doesn't need to try and go after his qb anymore
I know this was the final outcome but I'm wondering if they stopped pushing once we got Ward. Seemed like it was going to be Miami or nowhere and there was optimism that the waiver was going to get approved. Either that or that info was leaked as a hail mary to get Ward off the fence.
And we are back to the team we were against Louisville. Honestly, I don't even think this is FSU performing at their best - they've had some TO issues and aside from the start from Green, they aren't shooting all that great. This is just how bad Miami is playing tonight.
This might be Larranaga's worst coaching job since he's been here, down to the roster construction. He's always maximized the talent on the roster, even in lean years.
Started all 15 games for Washington and tied for their lead in INT's. Would imagine he starts at one of the safety spots.
I'm feeling a bit better about safety with him committed. Jaden Harris played fairly well filling in for Kam and they're high on the Vandy kid that they got to portal in early on. Also expect Zay to be in two deep by the time fall camp breaks. Probably need another corner and a receiver for sure.
There's a lot to not like about the Cristobal era. Knowing that I don't have to worry about the OL for however long this goes is a very nice perk.
LG was the one spot there’d be a competition at. I never want to see Lou Cristobal take a snap at Miami again
Norchad out with an injury and both Wooga and George have 2 fouls early in the game. Need the youth on the bench (Nwoko, Watson, Casey) to play above their heads.
We should be going after starting DBs not another Olinemen, Mario can recruit those. Otherwise we end up with Vandy backups
This team’s mistakes have been magnified more this year than any season I can remember. Just been exasperating to watch
who on the roster is guaranteed to lock down the LG spot? why on earth would you not want a grown man playing on the OL over 21 and 20 yr olds between McCoy and Kinsler? the sooner this stupid program has to stop relying on kids who have only been in coral gables for a year or two to play meaningful snaps in the trenches the better
yeah, he tried to use Twitter and fan support to up his NiL bag and get Benson's share. We said have a good day
pretty sure McCoy is going to year 3. We brought Juco Bell, is he a developmental guy? We need DBs and WR 1. Who do we have back there? The dude Washington and Porter Jr. That’s it atm, we recruited scrubs at DB from HS and Portal.
I dont mind the add. He'll be behind Fletcher and Parrish for sure. Potentially Citizen and Ajay Allen unless one of them transfer.
