Reality show trailer Make friends. Make enemies. Make millions. Squid Game: The Challenge, the competition series based on our biggest show ever, premieres November 22.
I was skeptical but the first two episodes have been pretty good. Nobody dies in Survivor and it’s on it’s like 58th season.
Through episode 2 Spoiler That douche bag that says Jesus made him like this and essentially justified being an asshole because Jesus is incredible. Then he says he went to Clemson and it all made sense
I didn’t bother looking him up. Just assumed he was a walk on. Especially when he said he dropped out of college to be on the show
He was a top 100 recruit from Louisiana whose dad was in the NBA. Just got hurt it says and got processed
Spoiler 2 Things: The red head going to the other black people telling them to eliminate the black woman. Maybe one of the dumbest things I have ever seen on a reality show. Black woman will always stick together. Than choosing to eliminate the old man, that put a bullseye on your back. He was beloved
Spoiler I like it. When Chaney gets it, it will be pretty entertaining. I wish Bryton had gone longer. He had elite villain potential. Dr. V being edited to look like the embodiment of vapid self improvement culture was funny. couldn’t believe when Rick got eliminated. I’d also love to know if one of the people who got eliminated in red light green light cut some elite promos and would have been great if not for slipping on the first doll turn.
Apparently the red light green light was like a 8 hour ordeal where they had to stand motionless for 30-45 minutes
So what's the consensus on watching S2? Loved S1 like the rest of you guys, but not sure whether to give S2 my time
This isnt season 2. It's just a reality competition based on the show. Im liking it. Its fun to watch. But the actual season 2 apparently is in production.
Any optimism that I have for season 2 is rooted in the original writer coming back to do it. I can't imagine it'll be nearly as good as season one though.
Spoiler This chick wouldn't agree to the pass up and gets dude eliminated and than asks for someone to pass her up and they do. People are stupid
Ep 9 Spoiler I was losing my mind over the group being mad at the other lady for nominating her on the dice roll. How is no one mad at the chick that wouldn’t work w the group on the bridge?!?!
I'm only on episode 8, but I wonder if the show made them sign contracts NOT to do deals like "once it gets to final 10 we just all split". Seems odd nobody would offer that up if not forbidden?
Spoiler having to listen to 278 play herself as the victim, and then the entire rest of the contestants just getting amnesia about her screwing them all over in the bridge game was infuriating. When she did that, they should've all immediately said in the dice game, 'you cheated us all, you can't be trusted, we're all nominating you til you're gone, then we'll nominate ourselves
I don’t blame her honestly for not passing up. But then the other players passing her up was insane. Than playing the victim in the dive game is crazy
The amount of crying in this game is so fucking annoying. Nobody is dying. Why is there so much crying?
fuck them for splitting this in to thirds Spoiler hope Phil wins, he deserves it (though wouldn’t be terribly upset if 016 wins either)
Spoiler Glad you all agree about 278. No idea why everyone did not isolate her and then target her after the bridge move she pulled. So happy 278 was eliminated and not Mai. I am okay with either Phil or Mai winning but Phil nailing people back to back has me rooting for him
Spoiler #302 representing for EMAW. First female scholarship athlete at K-State in basketball. Enjoyed her nominating and booting that on european punk. Also her son shouldn't have kept jumping, he did it for the greater good but 278 really showed her ass in that bridge game. Technically she did eventually make an unknown jump, but only because 301 kept jumping and finally fell.
Spoiler Hate it. There was strategy involved up until they got past the bridge challenge. Everything else has been a crapshoot. Literally they rolled dice as one of the challenges
Spoiler Too late to say it now, but Ive been wondering how'd they do the final game. Obviously they cant do the actual squid game like they did in the show. I almost made a joke about them doing something stupid like rock paper scissors. I agree it was dumb and anti-climactic.
Spoiler agree completely. I understand that having it based on just sheer strength wouldnt be fair but just something as random as blind luck without semblance of strategy or skill was utterly ridiculous
Spoiler An I the only one who didn’t like Mai?? She played the game well but she was fake as shit to so many of the players. Among a couple things, lying about who she put out in the circle of trust was very weak
Spoiler she sucked and I got the feeling that she made it through the first 90% of the game simply because she was friends with Chad or whatever that giant dude's name was
Netflix is developing a video game and already has the S2 casting page up. They are going to milk this baby for all its worth. Hopefully, they force Nick and Vanessa to do the reunion show. Also, the Bryton kid went to my HS here in Louisiana (not sure why they said he was from South Carolina outside of the fact that he's a walk-on for Dabo). Can fully confirm that he's just as big of a prick irl as he is on the show.
