RAW the last few weeks has had longer matches nothing under 5 minutes and has tried to give more wrestling. But WWE is never going to give you what AEW does. But glad you can admit to now watching the PLE and stop pretending you only catch things on your X feed.
Raw the last five weeks: 74 minutes wrestling out of 180 minutes 70 minutes 72 minutes 65 minutes 66 minutes Barely cracking 40% wrestling if even that much. That would be classified as a bad episode of Dynamite or Collision. So not quite up to my standards. But like I said, it’s working for them quite well so I don’t blame them at all. It’s just not for me. Just like you need story behind everything, I need more wrestling.
Man one of my wrestling tweets just got a like and a reply from David Bixenspan. Time for me to retire, I’ve reached rock bottom.
As all punk employments go, this is not gonna end well and will surely blow up in everybody's faces but hopefully, it's at least fun before we get to that inevitable implosion. P.S. Rhea's ass... special.
Think Tony Khan would be best served just cutting these people. Miro, Andrade, Malakai, and Buddy specifically. Not really sure who else would fall into that group. All the other major ones like Swerve, Moxley, Danielson, Cole, Claudio, etc. seem to be pretty happy. If they aren’t they haven’t made their feelings known either publicly or via the dirt sheets. Devote that TV time to the people that actually care and want to be there. And if he wants to be petty and not release them, just let them sit at home doing nothing like Vince used to do. If they want to wrestle in the mean time, then they can go find some indie to work for a hot dog and a hand shake, maybe that will humble them.
No account is. When I was on Twitter and he showed up on my “for you” tab I recall him not as bad as others since he would only occasionally take a shot at his less favored promotion. There’s some that were negative against AEW or WWE in every other post. He does get sassy though.
Yea that's absolutely hilarious and sums up the delusional (portion) of the AEW fanbase. Just enjoy your own product and stop being do obsessed with the product you repeatedly say you hate
I’m excited about Punk. He brings drama and shakes things up. Curious to see how the rest of the roster reacts to him. Don’t take yourselves so seriously, it’s wrestling. The funny clip was worth posting. Punk will talk shit about anybody who isn’t currently serving him. Does the doctor he sued still work for the Fed?
I am not the biggest Punk fan, but the man is agent of chaos. Always more interesting in and out of the ring if he's around.
Coming around to it more today. Drew needs to stop being a baby, and I think Seth is a pro and ready to put on an epic program.
in the clip where he “angrily storms out quickly” you can see the camera man directing him to hurry up out of there
If he makes it to a program with Roman, there is heat there too. I think Punk really fanned the flames of the backlash against him.
I did see that, but reports today are that he was really upset after the match, but not completely related to punk
Punk looked ten years younger than he looked in AEW at any point. Maybe it’s the hair cut or something.
I think Drew has an inflated image of himself. He was white hot when he won the Rumble and then Covid happened and then he was saddled with wearing a kilt and bringing a sword to the ring and he has never recovered from it.
I don't think he's ever gotten over/recovered from losing to Roman like that at the Clash at the Castle thing. And I don't blame him because it was dumb that he didn't, but he's a professional wrestler and should probably figure out how to move on at some point in order to keep doing this for the kind of money he wants to make.
