I've been on an ancient Greece kick lately with plans on making the natural transition to Rome afterwards so to answer the thread title I'd say sometimes also my mom always said I can do anything I set my mind to so landing a plane should be a breeze

Quite a bit. Was actually thinking about it just before checking this thread as I’m watching a documentary that talked about the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople. I’m almost finished with Mike Duncan’s History of Rome podcast. Only listen to it when driving for multiple hours. Down to the last 20 episodes or so. It’s amazing how poorly I knew/understood Roman history before listening to the podcast. And it’s also obvious to me how badly understood the Roman Empire is today generally because of how poorly we teach history.
