WFT was much better than Commanders. What were some of the other names in contention that people liked?
Hi everyone. I grew up without an NFL team. I live in DC now and told all my friends I would become a WFT fan if Dan ever sold the team given that I root for the Braves rather than the Nats and the Wizards are the Wizards. Ready for the hope/misery cycle.
Taking recommendations for twitter follows and podcasts to get me up to speed on OUR Washington Commanders.
Me too.. The Coverage and fans of the team are underwhelming on Twitter, which is surprising considering how nuts the fanbase actually is. Hopefully the new owner renews the passion of old.
Not at all - it’s our best offseason in 25 years. I was watching the quarterbacks show on Netflix and the “you like that” year was the last time we went to the postseason with a with a winning record. Here’s to hope of one Washington [insert name here] Super Bowl win before we die
Roster is probably too good, but just thinking about how great it would be to grab Caleb Williams next year. Just feels too perfect.
Personally think the beat is fucking terrible but Grant Paulsen seems the most popular The athletic guy is terrible and Washington post the same I could give you an unbiased breakdown of the roster, don’t think anyone really knows what this owner will bring outside of not being Dan Snyder Better days ahead
Amazing to see a big crowd and actually hear our own fans cheering. Now we need to do something… Arizona is bad and we’re playing down.
There's a long road between here and the draft, including a new GM and coach who will ultimately decide what to do. But for now... what do we think it costs to move up to 1 and take Caleb Williams? It feels too obvious with him being the hometown kid.
Idk, moving up to one kinda seems dumb. It would cost a lot of picks. We've got a first, two 2nds and two 3rds. There are a ton of QBs in this draft. If possible, roll out the Houston or Bears strategy. Can Fields get better or just use a second day pick on one of the other dozen QBs available after trading down. Williams gonna go #1, gonna be a lot of heat for #2. PSU OT is also an option
Curious what Wahington fans think about the number 2 pick and the choice between Daniel's and Maye most likely... Unless they decide to trade up which I find highly unlikely..
I'm sure they'll take the wrong one. Maye seems bigger. I worry about Daniels getting hurt. But his stat line and play is sexy. Can we have Nabers too
Trading up would be a mistake IMO. Too many roster holes and Caleb doesn’t seem like the surefire #1 he was a year ago. That said, the Kingsbury move has me suspicious and Williams being a DMV kid really adds up so I wouldn’t be shocked
I love you, but it's a new era. Have alittle more positive view.. You're killing me with the negativity..
There's rumors floating around in more than one outlet that Washington is considering trading back to the 12th spot for more draft capital with the idea of drafting JJ fucking McCarthy.. If this happens i'll literally boycott this fucking franchise for the rest of my existence.. I'll be officially out..
Boss you watch as much college football as anyone.. If you were picking at 2, Do you prefer Daniels or Maye??
Getting increasing vibes that: 1. Daniels is the pick and 2. Daniels has some really concerning issues as a prospect (sack rate being the most concerning one to me.) I was on the fence but I think I'm starting to prefer Maye.
Okay, today is the day, somebody sell me on why Daniels is a better pick than Maye. Shit like this terrifies me:
