It’s been a shit day and I need something light, so is everyone aware the Mario’s name is Mario Mario? His brother is Luigi Mario. Together they are the Mario Brothers. I never put that together.
My doctor prescribed it. My A1c came back high at my annual check up and he said he thought if I just lost a bunch of weight it would be back to normal. So he decided that along with my family history would be the best thing to do. Just makes me feel fuller quicker and for longer. I do sometimes kinda wonder if I am even eating enough to prevent malnourishment. It's rare that I ever actually feel lime eating a full meal anymore. So I do wonder what I am going to do to prevent gaining back the pounds once I get taken off of it and have to go back to eating full meals without feeling like I'm starving.
Likely gain it back unless change behaviors while you're on it. Have known people who had same issue with Metformin.
I think I’ve shared this before but I went to school w a guy with the same first and last name. He was a 4th. Jacob Jacobs, IV
I don't remember who the poster was but that was honestly a perfect troll - comparing it to a good but not elite level LA sushi place to make it somewhat plausible. I could have easily ended up at Ajian if another Bama poster hadn't stepped in to enlighten me.
Diet and exercise is not nothing. Especially the diet part is what I've changed the most because I was already exercising, just have made a more concerted effort to do it more regularly. Either cut out or eliminated a lot of the stuff I had been eating even before the ozempic started to kick in. Of course after that started taking effect I didn't have much choice about doing either because I just didn't feel like eating much. First week of my plan was down 2 pounds before I even used it once. Took at least 2 weeks for me to start noticing the effects of the medicine.
I and the rest of the weightlifting thread would welcome you if you are looking for exercise and diet tips. Happy that you are making progress, and just for the record I’d start cutting out candy corn from your diet.
Charlie Kelly and Nick Miller are the same character, but their different group of friends and cities they live in pull out different parts of their same personality.
We all have people that annoy us. I’m as guilty as anyone of going after them. It’s always something going on within myself that compels me to lash out at someone else. I acknowledge it and try not to do it again. The more I do that, the less I act like a dick. Just remember the things we hate about others are the things we hate about ourselves.
American Airlines fucking sucks. I travel a lot for work but only fly AA out of necessity. They lost my bag tonight. I’d say I’ve flown AA 5-10% of the time at most, but they’ve easily caused 75%+ of issues I’ve encountered flying. Best part is they “expedited” it by flying it to Raleigh tonight so it can catch the early flight to Dallas tomorrow. They could’ve just waited for the early direct flight from Cincinnati and it would’ve arrived about 20 minutes later and they wouldn’t have to worry about double handling it. Bin Laden should’ve taken out their HQ instead Thanks for listening
I was two sentences into this and my wife started yelling at me about something. Started over and read it out loud. By the end, she forgot why she was mad. Thanks
I was pretty confident I had heard this stat before but googled to double check: “Of all national airlines, American Airlines lost the most bags in 2022, losing 850 bags per 100,000. That was followed by JetBlue, Alaska Airlines, and United Airlines,” Travel and Leisure magazine reported in a recent article published before the holiday meltdown."
He’s probably huffed a time or two with Dave, the homeless man, in a broke down car outside their building.
Delta > Even though I did have to argue with about 5 reps to get a hotel comped after I got stranded in Atlanta the other week
What is obnoxious about Eathan? He‘s probably one of the least confrontational posters on this board.
Throuple. Expensive cars, homes and vacations. Ostentatious businesses. I think he once subtle flexed about having a lion at his house…
I used to fly if I had a trip that was more than four hours to drive. I now generally drive if it’s 5-6 hours, depending upon available flights.
If y’all are mad at him just talking about his life (like everyone on here does) then that just makes y’all seem obnoxiously jealous.
You were wondering what he does that could be perceived as obnoxious Edit: I googled obnoxious and none of what I listed meets the textbook definition (offensive). Explanation withdrawn
I've cut my sweet intake in approximately half, if not more. And frankly didn't eat that much to begin with except around the major food holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Trying to make gradual changes instead of going cold turkey. I've tried cold turkey on some stuff in the past and it didn't tend to last long unless it was an allergy thing that forced me to. Like when I realized I had a minor lactose intolerance allergy, haven't intentionally drank milk in over 20 years now without using lactaid, though most milk byproducts don't bother me, like cheese, for example. Also, I probably have that thread on ignore. Can you give me a link so i can unignore it if I want to get some of them tips? I like to click ignore on threads that get posted in frequently that I don't normally care about or would rather avoid for existential doom reasons, like that Trumpocalypse thread if that still is around.
A. I’m pretty sure you can manage/un-ignore threads from your profile page B. https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/tmb-weightlifting-thread-learn-to-swim.120349/
