The showrunner was a writer/producer on the West Wing and solo wrote one of the best post-Sorkin episodes. That influence is super evident throughout -- Loved it.
The great writing, snappy patter and biting humor are what give it the West Wing feel. Best thing I've seen on Netflix since The Crown ...
Finished last night and loved it. Second season should be interesting. I know it hasn’t been renewed yet but they have the show runner tied down for a few years. The wait is going to suck.
Really enjoyed this show. Great characters. Was waiting for the President to scold Jimmy for something.
I thought I saw where it had because Matthew Rhys is supposed to be in it. Did not know him and Kerri Russell were actually together since The Americans.
His cameo in cocaine bear was pretty funny. He’s really one of my favorite actors. Perry Mason is great and highly recommend if you haven’t seen it.
I know I'm missing someone obvious but they have to be among the most talented acting couples. Plus they are aging incredibly.
Been waiting for cringy shit but haven’t seen it, show is just very good so far Best come correct for Keri Russell in any spy/political thriller
really enjoyed this first season and glad to see it got renewed. gonna be a long wait, I would imagine though.
Annoyed at the ending of the season. Did they resolve a single plot point all season? The finale would've made a great penultimate episode.
I made it to halfway through ep 4 and found myself checking out. Maybe I’ll finish it at some point but still didn’t do anything for me
Jumped in last weekend and just finished it off. Really great. Has a little West Wing vibe to it but not quite the same tone. Gonna be a long ass wait. :(
I kept getting modern take on TWW vibes from this show and now it all makes sense. Very good show. defeintely enjoyed it. great cliff hanger, can't wait for season 2.
