I'm going to start one soon. I can't wait for the folks who binged it to have to go through the same pain of getting left with vicious cliff hangers and have to wait a week for the next episode.
Anyone have any theories why the innies kept from feeling hungover? I remember the comment about Mark always having bloodshot eyes but it seemed none of them ever got/felt sick.
I tried watching this, but don't think I finished the first episode, I should really try and go back to watch it.
It definitely took me off guard when I watched the first episode as I was expecting it to be a little more Sitcommy when I saw Adam Scott. I could see how someone got tripped up by their expectations and didn’t realize how good it is.
absolutely 100% my favorite show of last year (by a wide margin) and perhaps the best new show of the last decade +
Ricken is a weirdo but he's also a supporter of the Proletariat, so Elon does not get to sit at the cool kids table with Ricken. “Your so-called boss may own the clock that taunts you from the wall, but, my friends, the hour is yours,”
I think it’s going to be a while for s2, especially with the strikes. But they were working on it and nothing official has changed
What the hell are you talking about? All of Hollywood has been shut down for a few months now so nothing has been happening anywhere but if it makes you feel any better production on S2 started late last summer with filming beginning in October and running until it was paused in May. Nobody seems to know just how close they were to finishing or how long the post production will take but not only is a second seasoning happening it almost would certainly be nearing completion if not for the extreme circumstances.
there were rumblings about behind the scenes issues, and like you said no one knows how far along they were, now the strike. Just feels really far away. The final episode from season 1 aired 4/8/22. Just starting to feel like “let’s hope they figure it out” more than “were close”
Rewatching for like the 4th time since I binged it earlier this year and just realized that it's Ben Stiller doing the voice of Kier Eagan in the little congratulatory video thing that pops up on Helly's computer when she reaches 100% in episode 8.
I apologize. Just do like me and keep rewatching season 1. I literally started my first rewatch less than 10 hours after I finished my first time through.
God dammit just finished season one and there’s no season two. The aesthetics of Lumon remind me so much of the video game Control.
Bumping this thread without a season 2 announcement gets you some time in the break room. Sorry Name P. Redacted shit now I’ve done it too…
So the "Alt Text," which I rarely ever read, for that image says as follows: A black and white action shot of Mark S. (Adam Scott) running down a long white hallway. On the right side of the picture is a large camera recording the scene, confirming Severance Season 2 is in production. I think that means we're definitely getting a Season 2 but, unfortunately, probably not soon. No clue how long these things normally take. Also love that they clearly schedule tweeted it for 9:00 AM on a Monday.
I guess this is good news but I've been hoping they were further along and we'd be getting a release date sometime soon.
Hell yeah. Those last 3 episodes were riveting, and the dancing scene is still one of my favorite TV scenes ever.
Tramell Tillman nailed his role. Really enjoy the whole cast, but he stands out to me for some reason.
