A24 show on Netflix with Ali Wong and Steve Yeun. A road rage incident starts an escalating feud. Two episodes and I’m in.
I avoid basically anything on Netflix but have heard really good things about this. Might check it out
This is the best Netflix series I've watched in a long time. The 30-minute format is a dramcom is perfect.
I too have 3 eps left. The music drops at the end of each ep are so good. Everything about this show is good
Last ep was wild. 9/10. Will rewatch the season at some point. Just read that this was initially pitched as a limited anthology series a la White Lotus, so any future seasons would probably focus on different beefs.
Just finished it Started watching bc the trailer looked absurd, knew nothing about it other than it’s about a road rage incident that escalates Best show I’ve watched in a long time
Yeah given the fact it’s a TV show I knew SOMETHING would happen to screw something up but did not see any of this coming at all.
Thought episode 3 was really good. Didn’t see it ending like that. Interesting to see where it goes now.
Show was excellent. Gave off a bunch of white lotus vibes where everyone involved is fucking awful. Most redeeming characters in the entire show were Paul and June. lost hard at how the rich white lady stole her brother’s wife and then was accidentally killed by her and the 100k chair. finally how the fuck did Isaac survive the shootout?
Started around 9:30 Tuesday night. My dog had a stomach thing and had to let her out every 45 minutes or so. Ended up staying up until after 4:00 am and finished it. Incredible show all around.
Why didn’t you love the ending? I felt it was going to go in that direction the entire time, not in terms of the how or the actual last scene, but it seemed right for them to bond.
they just as easily could’ve fucked that early episode, instead he pissed in her bathroom win win I guess
I just struggled with the idea that this woman would have a deep heartfelt conversation with the person who kidnapped her child and took her for ransom among all the other things in the show.
It is a dark comedy. It was never going to be realistic. That said, both characters did so many crazy irrational things that when finally confronted with their own mortality it is a reset and anything is possible.
Only part of the finale I thought was silly was the crows. Other than that, great episode to conclude a great show
My wife brought up a good point, there’s not a single person to root for in this series. We’re probably 6 episodes in. She’s not too much of a fan. I think it’s ok, not worth the hype. Maybe closer to the end? Need some pay off. Right now it’s just dragging on.
We are six episodes in and I think it’s great even if I’m not necessarily rooting for a particular character. Machinehead scene was excellent.
Honestly don’t watch a lot of TV, so you could very well be right. It does get better with each episode.
Loved it. Stephen Yeun is very talented, thought he was a mediocre actor to start his career off but turns out the Walking Dead just fucking sucks
Show was excellent and I really liked the way it ended. Didn’t hurt that a top 3 Smashing Pumpkins song was playing.
Big fan of the show. It’s really too bad Danny doesn’t wipe properly and his house is covered head to toe in shit.
Finally watched this. The Machinehead ending of episode 6 is one of my favorite endings of an episode ever
