I don’t care if loving this show might be wrong, but if it is, right doesn’t exist. was surprised I didn’t find a thread for it. I watched through all of it the past two days and just about to start watching it again. excited for season three but probably a year away from that.
I had to turn it off when they caught dude murdering someone on film and Ki decides it would be a good time to start yelling murderer. It was just too jarring for me to handle. Completely pulled me out of the show
The cast for this show is so fun to be around. You’d think that a bunch of young good-looking people would be full of themselves, and give off a vibe of being too good for you, but not a single one of them is like that. The crew for the show is like that, too. The director(s), the writers, even the producers (usually all business) were a lot of fun to be around. Hope season 3 succeeds like the others.
Stunt double for a bad guy. This is this character’s first season. I’ll say more when season 3 is dropped.
Spoiler I’m the stunt double for Lou Ferrigno Jr. He’s the guy who is the main goon for the guy trying to get to El Dorado. He chases the pogues through the abandoned building, and falls through the floor for one of the traps the pogues set. That was me falling through the floor and crashing on the floor below.
Congrats, that's awesome! I liked season 1, but bailed halfway thru ep. 2, season 2. It was just unwatchable to me. Hope season 3 is better and keeps you working!
The way they continue to evade and manage to get the jump on highly trained security forces is absurdly hilarious. I almost feel bad that Eric The Viking probably had to take all the lumps and look like a clown for that incompetent loser of a security guy. On ep 4 so this may change idk
they need the kids to find the diary - let’s shoot at them! also, the Singh guy should’ve invested in a navy in addition to his army
That was also a comically convenient situation for Raife. I also didn’t know you can just dock on island nations, go about your business, and leave no questions asked.
This show has never been a “good” show, but so far this is the worst season and it’s almost too bad to watch. I’m through ep 3 and I think my wife has checked out. The el dorado story line seems like it’s going to be impossible to deliver on and idk about John b’s dad being alive. The Singh bad guy is comical and idk why they made him the villain instead of Sarah’s dad
Filmed in Barbados for a small stretch. They barely even checked our passports at the airport. They are very much living the ‘island time’ lifestyle. The production had to hire a certain # of locals as crew, and it was comical. The film industry is hyper-punctual (an hour early is early, and 30 minutes early is late). The local crew guys were just sleeping in and showing up after their late breakfasts.
Ep 4 is roughhhh -Big John asking John B to commit armed robbery -the train guy not noticing a truck pull up and the sound of them moving the cross, yet was only like 5 train cars ahead lol
I know exactly what I'm getting into with this show and that's part of the reason I love it so much. The entire train part was incredible
That episode was a masterpiece. Just chefs kiss awful, but I can’t stop. I’m too invested. Maybe it’s a joke that we haven’t realized is a joke yet. Or an experiment in just how far they can push it before people just stop.
