2 DD comments. First, hopefully they use the Netflix method of filming fights and don’t CGI him flipping around like yoda in the prequels for his series. Second, did anyone else laugh out loud that they bring in DD and IMMEDIATELY throw him into a hallway fight? These producers like to have fun.
it’s just fun. I don’t think it’s going to be hugely consequential in the grand scheme but who cares.
I guess I just don't think it's that fun. Some goofy shit like the Wongers bit that was very enjoyable, but I don't think I've as much as smiled once at the fourth wall stuff that's in all these episodes, and there's no plot to any of it. It's just scenes about sad sack Jen trying to find guys who will have sex with her. I keep watching because I started it and am committed to see it to the end. Like I said, if it works for other people that's cool and I'm not trying to talk people out of that. For me it just feels like I'm tuning in for 25-30 minutes each week and it ends with my TV flipping me off and saying "lol you moron who thought something might actually happen in one of these 8 episodes!"
Sercovia Accords being repealed sounds like it may be big going forward. It's also the plot of every sitcom ever if you flip the gender.
Could you please tell us one more time about how much you don't like the show and the lack of consequences and how fun it is but that isn't enough for you? I don't think we got your point the first 50 times you said it.
Before last night, I had 3 posts in this thread. 2 of them were about how funny I thought the Madisynn/Wongers bit was. I don't think I've talked about it at all in the Marvel thread. So yes, I'm sorry for my three posts regarding my thoughts on the quality of the show through 8 episodes.
Imagine complaining about a show just being a fun show and not being another fucking countless thread in an overarching grand scheme that ends in some gigantic event film.
Meh, 6 out of 10. Wasn’t funny enough to justify it seriously telling us that it wasn’t taking itself seriously.
Enjoyed how outside the box the finale was. Episode at the Blonsky retreat was a 7/10. Finale was a 8/10. Series as a whole was a 6 out of 10.
When K.E.V.I.N. said the visual effects department has moved on to another project, did anyone else hear the Black Panther sting?
Series was ok. Pretty much my feelings on most of the Marvel content lately. Not good, not bad. Skaar was awful though.
I think my biggest gripe was that her personal information was stolen, she got mad and destroyed a big TV, I don't remember her hurting anyone, and she gets thrown in the same holding cell as a guy that killed people and destroyed city blocks? Seems excessive for smashing a TV
yeah somewhat of an issue for me as well, but I took it as the “hulkness” is viewed as inherently uncontrollable.
