Show is so different from all the other MCU stuff. The early D+ shows seemed really ambitious and trying to cram so much stuff into the allotted time. This is a 20-25 minute show where nothing happens every week. It's entertaining at times and I like it enough to keep watching, but I'm not sure what the point of a lot of this stuff is other than filling a couple hours of content.
Pretty uneventful episode. Just a filler. Liked Titania more in her Uber-Influencer role she’s portraying. Still hold out hope the good Dr shows up in a flashback giving her powers but doubt it. That whole episode was just a 5 sec clip. The cowl with horns labeled “Pick Up” was the entire episode for me.
Yeah, I'm going to continue to watch the show but I've definitely found it getting more boring as the weeks go on. I mean when I'm more interested in the next cameo (come on DareDevil!) or looking at a drawing and trying to decipher which character belongs to which shoe, then it says a lot about the show. I mean the overall theme so far seems like "new superhuman comes to grips with new powers and learning to balance normal life with superhero life." That is common in the comics and is interesting but typically there are some consequences for the character. So far, this show is pretty lacking in the overall consequences for the character. I hope that this will round out in the last few episodes though. I'm assuming She-Hulk is going to play in the street-level superhero arc Feige talked about and I'm really excited to see her character interact with all of those characters. I mean can you imagine She-Hulk, SpiderMan, and Deadpool all in the same scene?
Soooooo intellegencia.net….how deep are they going to go with that? Assuming those were AIM scientists at the end. We know MODOK and the Leader are confirmed for upcoming films. Seems pretty clear the foreshadowing will lead to them getting her blood (maybe the stud at the wedding is an AIM agent?) but who would they make into the Red Hulk with Thunderbolt RIP’d?
I absolutely love this show. It’s refreshing to watch some thing with such low stakes, light hearted, and fun.
Yep, not everything needs to lead into the next two Avengers movies. Secret Invasion will be high stakes for sure, and that should balance well after some of the recent lower stakes D+ shows. But, we got more introductions with mutants in this episode also.
I called that he was a fucking beekeeper!!! Never trusted that dude. “HulkKing” has to be the Leader right? I don’t think Blonsky would have anything to do with AIM. Still no Murdoch FFS. So, it’s got to be asked….we thinking that Beekeeper got his redwings that night? The blood had to come from somewhere….
I was cackling at him carrying his shoes. I don't think I understood the twist. --------- I've said it before but I really love how self aware this show is about the toxicity of the Marvel fan base.
It's broader than just the Marvel fanbase, imo. They've shown the bullshit women with notoriety deal with PLUS the mundane bullshit all women deal with.
“Jennifer Walters has consensual sexual relations!” Seriously, Intelligentsia incels? This is your plan? Obviously the blood is the biggest unresolved issue. They did extract some from her at some point, right?
Wonder where they go with the finale. The revenge porn/slit shaming would fit with the roster because he’s about as incel as they come. Don’t think they’ll introduce that with 1 episode left though. With these shows the villain usually is the villain so I’m betting Titania is still behind everything.
I like Daredevil and it was nice to see him again, but this show does nothing for me. It's just a funny scene from time to time surrounded by nothing. Glad some of you like it and whatnot. Not here to tell people they shouldn't enjoy it if they are. The whole thing just feels like a waste of time to this point.
Agreed. And I have enjoyed it but we are the season finale and still have no idea who the bad guy is. A complete different turn from the other series. still it’s fun and I’m here for it.
