Man, your grandma got a rezzy ass car. You don’t wanna see what happens if I run out of ranch dressing
I'm a big What We Do in the Shadows fan so I assumed this would be a comedy. Did not expect to get hit in the feels weekly
Let me tell you, episode 4 "Mabel" was a big kick to the chest. First I want to point out artist Dana Tiger. Comes from a family of artists and she can be seen in a couple of the bedroom scenes. She has Parkinsons so she's the one that doesn't look too healthy. Very minor spoiler so I'll spoiler. Spoiler Wotko Long, older guy, was one of the singers at my moms funeral.
Willie Jack #1 celebrity crush. Chick I overrate? Curious. I think she's a smoke show, but probably not universal, even for an objectively beautiful person
Dude. Yes. I looked her up after last season. She's legit gorgeous and I'm hazy on details now, but seems to be a legit rad person. Either way, nails the character and the psychology. Seeing her wheels turn (in character) and true-to-herself/genuine honesty (again, in character). But it's all by the actor. I don't think I've ever fallen so deeply in love with a fictional character, to exaggerate. I love falling in love with the character in a movie/show. She's killing that role a la Omar in the wire
As to the show in general, not sure what's going on with bear's character. May be the point. He's (supposed to be wobbly between strong/comedic foible/???) but his confusing interactions and point/purpose/identity as he interacts with different intersections of what he thinks vs. what ends up are really poignant. Its a great show
I'm sorry to see this show end, but it's understandable. I actually wish more good shows would make that tough choice before running out of ideas and directions to go. Some shows try too hard to find new story arcs and directions for the sake of longevity and end up moving too far from what made them a good show in the first place.
Great show. 3 seasons doesn’t seem nearly enough. Maybe I’m being selfish but I need more. Because of this show my love of Native Literature was reborn.
Currently reading Killers of the Flower Moon. Probably one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time.
They all have been good but ep 4 was especially good. The flirting between Willie Jack’s mom and Officer Big was amazing
So weird watching this back to back with Dark Winds. His character couldn’t be any more different outside of being a cop.
For those struggling to make connections to the characters from the Dazed and confused episode, this really helps. It also reminds you of each of their stories as I tend to focus more on the kids and forget about he adults sometimes like Peanuts. https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-mov...4-episode-5-recap-acid-aliens-ufo-1234809427/
I really like how they are connecting all the characters together this season through the use of the elders past. A bit of a struggle keeping track of who is who, but I think I got it now.
Spending a lot of time on the olds this season. Didn't love this latest episode. Just didn't do much for me.
Just finished it. So good. This stuff is just perfect for me and I really hope the show runners do something similar when this is over. I’m really gonna miss this show.
