i'm hesitant to say anything about this or say to watch a trailer or say what it's like, but I just watched the first episode and this is something that has absolutely been missing I would highly suggest just watch the first episode without knowing a single thing it's on Netflix
just finished Spoiler I dont think I will say no to more, but I really wanted it to just be a mini series and not multiple seasons
I have one episode left. I'm going to finish, but I wouldn't ever start it again, knowing what I know now. Episode 6-8 are just absolutely brutal.
Really enjoyed it but I also had many questions. When I have explain it to friends or coworkers as korean hunger games but dubbed over in english, they always ask me if it’s real… which is a bit worrisome. Yes, I sit home and watch some snuff film like a deadly most extreme elimination challenge… or is that what you want to watch?
Episode 6 is probably the best episode of television in 2021 so far for me. Especially after you finish the season.
Please don't watch anything dubbed. It's going to take away from the emotion and energy/tone of the series
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMRvckA84/ https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMRvckA84/ Season 2 from the perspective of a red worker maybe? Especially since the guys who were selling parts never really made too much sense, but could get some closure on that front?
I’ll be that guy- I tried to watch this tonight. Forced myself to start episode 3 but made it 15 mins in it isn’t good
Imagine lacking the shame to post such a terrible opinion and not witness the greatness of players 067 and 240.
Finished season. Spoiler My wish fulfillment side hoped he would get to enjoy the money but the ptsd of it all would make it difficult to pretend it was all a dream. Just don’t know how he is gonna track them down if there were to be a s2, they are extremely effective at being anonymous and like ghosts in the wind. The red hair was not a good look, maybe some symbolism I missed.
Spoiler The red hair definitely tied to the color of the guards. Symbolic of joining the rich who finance the game. At least that's how I interpret it
I was ready to incorporate Squid Games into the MCU somehow, my mind was working in overdrive (for 6:40 in the morning)
it was either that or discussing why didn't they have the subtitles and dub done by the same people so the words at least matched up from whatever they were translating.
Definitely feels like a second season will happen. Spoiler We don’t know if Jun-ho actually died when he was shot, and it can be fairly assumed his brother was a good enough shot to kill him if he wanted to. Also, Gi-hun definitely missed his flight to see his kid, presumably to exact his revenge. I’ll be happy if stays just one season, but they’ve definitely left the possibility of a second season as very viable.
Just finished and loved it. Episode 6 was amazing and probably the high point of the series for me, but episode two and three are extremely underrated. I don’t think they stuck the landing perfectly, and Spoiler the two major twists were always pretty obvious , but 8.5/10 for me. Spoiler I also felt bad at the end though that he wasn’t going to see his daughter. I think if he did go to see her, there would be no suspense about a sequel, so I can’t see this not happening now. I also need to go back and watch Battle Royale again now. It’s been awhile.
