Spoiler Only just now finished season one. I’m trying to take my time with it. It’s an incredible show. I love the Nora character and the preacher played by Eccleston. Liv Tyler’s character seems unnecessary but I’m sure I’ll be proven wrong. I still haven’t made the connection between the disappearance and what Wayne was doing spreading his seed but I’d imagine they’re related. Or not! Scott Glenn is amazing, as are Margaret Qualley and Ann Dowd (rip) Can’t wait to get into season two
I’m being serious about starting over immediately. Probably finish Marre of Easttown then just jump back in.
So I often check the tv board when I run out of shit to watch and stumbled upon this thread a few weeks ago. Thought id give it shot based on some comments on the last page of this thread and oh buddy im glad I did. 4th episode in on season 2. Fantastic television. I don’t remember anyone even talking about this show when it first came out
Well shit now I have to watch s3 again. It’s the only one I haven’t rewatched yet for whatever reason.
A bit off topic but I can’t believe they (Rajat and Jeremy) got Justin Theroux to do this, it’s hilarious and he’s just the best
https://www.gq.com/story/jeremy-rajat-justin-theroux-hollywood-recorder-parody/amp Justin Theroux, when asked to comment, told me in an email that, “I was so grateful to be invited to talk about my craft and a story I am so passionate about. As for my Film 'MLK’s Dresser,' it was an honour to tell the real fake story of this towering fictional man who shared such a special fake story with the real Martin Luther King Jr. Had he existed, the impact he could have had on the Civil Rights movement is staggering. I could go on of course but am currently away shooting the sequel ‘MLK’s Dresser: A Stitch in Time.’ I hope GQ editorial might find a few columns to spare closer to its release.”
S3 switching up the intro songs was so great. The Gravediggaz intro blew my mind the first time I saw it
Andy Greenwald and Mina Kimes have a new pod where discuss of the show “stuck the landing” if you’re into that.
