I enjoy being able to sit with a show or rewatch an episode during the week. And for shows that lend themselves to it, I love the discussion that happens in between episodes. And I love having something to look forward to each week. Personal preference for sure, but for me there’s not a single thing I prefer about a season dump over a weekly release
I have no self control, I want to binge a show, then if I like it then watch it again and look for stuff I might have missed or continuity things.
Fuck me, I just finished the quarantine episode, and the Zoom meeting at the end put tears in my eyes.
Yeah just finished the CW backstory episode. Thought it was ok to better than ok, then it just finished up sublime.
Sure it did. It's clear they want to explore little tangential story arcs within the framework of another update getting released, and I'm here for it. You got F Murray A around, you gotta use him. And it got us some Big Head.
just started watching the show and just finished the season 1 episode about dark quiet death. i assume that's just a weird one-off but damn, it was really good.
So good. They’ve done a one off every season so far and wove it into the plot of the show. The one in S2 is excellent too.
Lou is a completely obnoxious, unfunny character that has aged horrendously given the activision lawsuit this last week. I hate him and never laugh at or with him.
Umm, just decided to do a re-watch. In the pilot CW narrates the opening and talks about his Nebula award. When they show the award ceremony it’s legit BigHead. Did they change that after season 2? Did they pencil BigHead in as Young CW before the show ever started?
C.J. Longbottom (Nebula Award-winning author and fantastic gasbag) will not be returning for the 3rd season, and I'm feeling very emo about it.
I checked because I thought he might be stepping away but he’s got other projects. F Murray will be missed. His standalone ep was great and a great way to remember him.
