Tonight's game should be awesome. Going to be cool to see an opposing player get so much love and likely cry on the ice.
From a tank perspective Sens need Burrows in the lineup. But he has done sfa this year. Might be able to make an argument he’s the worst player in the NHL.
Terrible trade, just incredibly stupid. Meanwhile dahlen has 20 goals and 17 assists in 35 games in the Swedish elite league. Leading his team in scoring by 12 points, his closest teammate has 7 more games played because dahlen missed the start with mono.
Elias Pettersson checks out at #1. Of course the Canucks are going to finally get good again, just in time to watch them manhandle a Seattle team for years to come. https://www.tsn.ca/cupboard-is-stocked-for-up-and-coming-canucks-1.989909
I don't know much about Taylor Raddysh, but why is he so low? Seems like he's done nothing but put pucks in the net his whole OHL career
I think he’s definitely benefited from playing beside some studs while in Erie. McDavid, Strome, DeBrincat
Trade isn’t the problem. He played well last year and helped in a small way to get the team to within a goal of the finals. The problem is Pierre giving him a 2 year extension. Dahlin needs to come to NA before a determination is made on his potential. Sens aren’t hurting for prospects.
Yes but what do you do with Price? Even a shitty Habs team will have problems bottoming out with a top flight goaler.
My favorite stat for this year so far: -The penguins are second to last in 5 on 5 shooting percentage this season. Only the hapless Sabres score on a lower percentage of even strength shots -They are the best power play team in the league by a wide margin. They score 27% of the time. Is the explanation for that that Crosby, Malkin, and Kessel are really good, and they don't have anything else?
Injuries to Hornqvist, Rust, Guentzel, Sheary etc etc means they've been playing with some minor league talent on the wings for parts of the season. That and the team as a whole was pretty apathetic the first half of the season. Def a weird stat though.
That was my biggest problem with the price contract from their point of view.Montréal was a team that looked like they needed to rebuild. If price is healthy, he’s so good that the team will never go to the bottom. A team fighting for the wild card might keep the fans interested but it won’t help build a roster capable of winning a cup.
They definitely took the first half of the season off. I wish they just rested guys like the NBA instead of going out there and going through the motions.
Listening to Montreal radio this morn and they were talking about the letter NYR put out. Seems to be what Habs fans want.
Bertuzzi took a dumb 5 minute major with 6 minutes left. We were up 5-2. The Islanders have scored 4 PPG and now lead with a minute left.
