    $40 mil seems like a lot for him. Maybe pay that for him 3 years ago, but it feels like he hasn't lived up to the hype.

    he only has 12 months left on his contract as well and it was close to guaranteed he wasn't signing a new one, so yea this is a rare win for Arsenal in the transfer market.

    It was just a comment on how it sounded. Not sure what me being a City fan would have to do with it. I didn't make it seem like we would miss out on someone because another club was involved that hasn't really made many moves

    I have been annoyed by this window.

    Love the signings but have done nothing to improve depth while loaning way too many damn players.

    And Chelsea are now scrambling in the 11th hour when business should have already been done.
