Lord and Miller back in talks to direct Flash. They were basically signed before but left for the Han Solo spinoff.
I'm all aboard the Wonder Woman train. Really loved the Ares build-up but at the same time, it got a little too DC with the "everything is on fire" shit. DC shitting the bed was funny for a bit but it's time to move past BvS and Suicide Squad. Really rooting for them with Aquaman and Justice League. I'm not all that optimistic for the latter yet as the entire trailer seems to be more of the "holy shit it's the apocalypse and hey look there's fire here too" bullshit. Not everything has to have the same color palette and grit.
I think the Aquaman character can be great...but I just can't get my head around how his standalone movie will be any good.
They blew their load too early. The thing that made the marvel movies great was the build up and character development. We got to know who everyone was before hand so that when they finally met up it meant something. Imagine this Wonderwoman movie came out before her apperance in BvS. It would have been an exciting payoff moment instead of feeling confused and feeling like she was just inserted and rushed in at the last minute. They also absolutely wasted the death of Superman story arc. That is something that is supposed to happen in the 3rd or 4th movie. Everyone and their mothers knows that Superman won't stay dead but at least try to fool us. Everyone knows there is an upcoming Justice League movie so the suspense of him dying is completely cheapened. Also whatever threat happens next wont loom quite as large because Superman already came back from the dead so what he's gonna die again? Also this version of the Justice Leage looks whack af. Where is Green Lantern? MM? Cyborg looks terrible. Thats not necessarily the studio's fault it just happened to be that DC was in their worst version of the Justice League after flashpoint. DC has just made terrible decision after terrible decision for their movies which is mind boggling because everywhere else: DC animated Universe, DC animated original movies, and TV series(Arrow,Flash,Supergirl) theyve been killing it.
Literally all we needed was a 2.5 hour live action version of The Dark Knight Returns but instead Snyder tries to mash like 3 different story arcs into 1 film because his version of Superman is so uninspiring.
The only saving grace for me is that WW was the first film released under Geoff Johns. Maybe it's just coincidence, but I need something.
Well, it's almost definitely NOT going to be a version of Under the Red Hood. They'd be required to give the backstory during the film, which would make the Red Hood's identity completely obvious. My guess is that will definitely be the story for the next Batman standalone though.
I'm guessing we get an after credit scene or some kind of Easter egg at Red Hood at the end of this standalone. The seed has already been planted with showing Robins costume and showing that Joker and Harley killed him. Or at least I hope so. I will nerd out hard.
Funny story about a coworker. Him and his wife went to see that in theaters and ended up getting it on that night. He didn't pull out so she got pregnant. She said he was a "dick" for not pulling out so they named their son Grayson.

That's what I'm saying. I feel like the kind of people who would be into a box set like that are DC superfans who are probably adept at using torrance sites or have a kodi setup.
I buy blu-rays, rip all of them (most now have a digital copy) for portable devices but don't use them for the in house theater set up. Sound compression is solid but not blu-ray quality. It will eventually catch up but I still like physical media.
Yep, but batman is going to be an extremely tough task. There are many pre established opinions on him frontal the other movies. It'll be tough torture it in a different direction, but necessary to create a story with wonder woman and others.
I'm pretty torn on this. I mean, it's a comic book movie, so no one is ever TRULY dead, and the chemistry between Gadot and Pine was one of the best things about Wonder Woman. With that said, during WW, she certainly isn't acting like she ever saw him again after he apparently died. He's definitely still not around in the current day. So they bring him back just for him to die again?
Perfect choice. The Shallows was a great little movie. http://deadline.com/2017/07/suicide...bros-will-smith-margot-robbie-1202126933/amp/
Good. Reeves clearly has a different vision for the movie. I wonder if him wanting to scrap this script and start from scratch is what caused him to temporarily drop out of the project a few months ago. I'm sure WB wanted this movie made ASAP.
