Milton had a receiver coming across for a first down and pointed for another receiver to go deep. Then underthrew it. Awesome
I think the defense shows up but unless the OL gets some rivalry adrenaline it will probably fall apart in the 3rd like it did tonight. Whopping 88 rushing yards.
Before this game I knew we would lose both of them. Nothing changed in my mind there. I assumed we would lose this one high 30's to mid 20's. I was closeish.
Milton really throws an ugly ball and can't push it downfield for a vertical threat at all. That's the only thing that makes me think Holman might work best next week. I'm not giving up on Milton, but he needs some work, and I really hope CSF is looking for a 5th year grad transfer or JUCO QB. McKenzie may need a couple more years to develop.
This wouldn't be much of a problem if he was faced with 2nd and 4 instead of 2nd and 12 and 3rd and 9. He is out there to be quick and elusive. It all falls apart when you're needing him to be a pro passer because you literally have no run support.
True. Unfortunately, between penalties and an ineffective run game, short gains won't get it done next week.
Milton sucks. Every ball was high and he got his WRs obliterated several times because of it. Should have been benched. Frost acts like Justin can't win but we won the AAC with him in 14.
It is nice to see a coach not constantly rotating QBs and messing with their heads but this is ridiculous. It is clear to everyone that Milton isn't ready and can't move this offense.
I know we lost to villanova last night but I think we have a solid coach. He's got 3 players right now and 5 warm bodies. I want to see what he brings in.
In case anyone didnt see it... Tacko Fall had 20 points on 10/10 shooting dunking and 14 rebounds vs. freaking Villanova.
Granted I don't watch a lot of UCF basketball but the few games I saw last year compared to what I saw last night, Tacko looks to have improved a lot. Last night we competed pretty well until it became apparent that depth is a problem
Well yeah, I mean competed pretty well as in we brought the final score back to within 10 instead of getting blown out by 30
I'm sure they are now that I think about. I only thought otherwise because over the summer when they revealed the uniforms it was said that next season is when we will get the full Oregon treatment with the all the custom designs and combos. what we got this season would be pretty basic comparatively because of the short timeframe Nike had to work with.
Don't know how to embed twitter images on phone so apologies for not posting them in advance, but damn the latest pics of the helmet are awesome. ucf logo over Florida, area code on front, and then war on i4 written on front of sword strip and a road map with our knight head over orlando on back of it...so cool.
yeah i know, i was just describing everything on it. the middle stripe hadn't been shown in detail and that's more what i was referring to. now that i'm on pc got the tweet i was referring to with pics below. Spoiler UCF_Equipment @UCF_Equipment 2h2 hours agoRaymond James Stadium Gave 'The State of UCF' helmets the #WaronI4 treatment UCF Football, UNISWAG and Phil Hecken
he is one of the most frustrating players to watch. can have a great drive one time and then the next just fuck up royally. the oline doesn't help much but damn he just compounds the problem a lot of the time.
You guys really understating how bad the OL is as we can never run the ball but that 3rd down throw was really bad too. So much for the quick start.
